One thing I'd like to see is where you get the plays you break down. Are these plays that you're just making up, or are they plays that you've seen the teams run? If they're plays that the teams have run in the past, showing tape of the play and then explaining how it works and why you think it's a good play to run against the opponent would be more meaningful, I think.
Its plays that I come up with based off what I perceive to be strengths/weaknesses of the team and from what I see them do on tape. I would love to add the video along with my reasoning, but I have to be time efficient as I do both the filming and editing Thanks Gang!! I appreciate the feedback!
I mean, I love the way you break down the opportunity, and relate it to the capabilities and limitations of both teams, but it would be so much more meaningful if you showed examples of similar plays being run against the team in question or by the team in question as applicable. I know that you have to do this as much as 16 times a week, but without seeing where these plays are coming from, it kind of detracts from the "preview" aspect of the production. It's more, "This is what Team A should do to exploit Team B's weakness/es" instead of "This is what I expect Team A to do to exploit Team B's weakness/es". Just my thoughts.
Thanks Ikeman! This is what I pretty much do.. You also have to understand, different team, different match ups, that's why looking at what Team A did vs Team B should work against Team C is not the right way to breakdown a game.
No worries Em. I haven't picked a Bolts game wrong yet this year, and I'm with you on this one: Chargers for sure. Gonna be a squeaker though imo: Going with 27-24 Bolts.
