Again, differing opinions; you're entitled to yours.

I'm absolutely convince we can be watching the same game and have different interpretations of what we're seeing. You call it a logical conclusion, I call it quitting.

I'm not saying that the defense isn't necessarily the problem. What I am saying is that the offense has some blame as well. Our play calling today sucked on offense in the red zone. Rivers was passing at will and when we got into the red zone we changed it up. Instead of our offense putting 14 on the board we put 6. Add those 8 points to our score and that's the game. This year our offense has totally stalled in the red zone. All they talk about is our big 6'5" WR and they become ghosts when we need them the most.

To say our offense is high scoring is misleading. Where was that high scoring offense against the Phins & Bills? Those were 2 very winnable games that our D did what it needed to do and our "high powered offense" failed us.

Like I tried to say earlier, our defense definitely has to shoulder a lot of our failures but or offense is failing us when we need it most.

Well obviously any time you lose the entire team (and in the case of the Chargers this year, the refs) shoulders the blame. Nobody had a perfect game, Rivers threw a pic, Jackson dropped a touchdown, the o-line didn't run block well. But with all the talent on the defense you have to admit that they're under-performing while the offense turns in decent-to-stellar performances. Something has to change, hopefully the coaching. (and that goes for Norv as well, he hasn't proven anything other than that he can do slightly worse than expected and not sabotage the season in playoffs. This might make him better than Marty, but it doesn't make him an NFL coach)

I definitely put blame on the defense. I'm just not turning a blind eye to our offense. I look at our team a few years back when our defense was a shutdown defense. What they did was picked up the slack for our offense. Now our defense is struggling and I would like to see our offense return the favor. I know we've had a few blowout games which helps our "points scored" this year but I want to see the offense score those points when we need them, not when we already have the game won.

I'm not partial to either team, but I'm tired of the National league being the red headed step child...we get no respect.

    Go Phillys.

Don't hate on me because you are a quitter. Some of us feel very confidant that this team is rounding into shape perfectly. We have the entire NFL right where we want them.

Feel free to disagree it's a free country. But if you do you are a quitter, loser, and lousy American.
