Again we get shut out in the 2nd half.. Typical Norv Turner teams..

Last year against the Jets, This year against the Broncos and now against Tampa.

Anyone who stands up for Norv Turner is a ******* idiot. This guy isn't a coach.. he's a coordinator.

Why doesn't he coordinate something for the second half?
He needs to be tossed. Right now. Not even allowed on the flight
      back to San Diego.

Can't see how he stays, even if he and the Chargers have an insane run

Why do guys like playing for this guy? I don't get it..

If Spanos wants $$, he'll put a winning team out there. Time to get rid of Norv, eat up his damn contract or whatever and take it like a man.

Well to start off we have a cheap owner that will not pull the trigger. Second off Norv also calls the offensive plays, so if we fire Norv, now we have to find someone to run the team THEN we have to find someone to call the plays. I do not see Norv leaving until the season is over.

We stole defeat from the jaws of victory for the third time this year.......and counting. Saints, broncos and now the bucs.

I don't know why I watch them play anymore. All this crap can't e good for my heart or nervous system.

How can Rivers not run this offense? He's been in it for 7 years.. Hal Hunter can run this ******* offense for all I care.. This team needs a change..

I didn't watch the game, but on the highlights of Rivers getting picked, it looked like he was forced out of the pocket and was trying to make something happen coming from behind, was that the case?

we we're inside the 25.. down a FG.. there was nothing on that play throw it away and get the FG to tie the game. 4th quarter with 13+ left.. Rivers just doesn't play smart. 15 TD's and 12 INT's and 3 fumbles lost. 15 scores and 15 turnovers.. thats average.. and thats what the Chargers will be this year.. 8-8..

He has no line, no game plan and and he is killing the teams spirit by trying to put the team on his shoulders with forcing plays that he and Norv think might work. I hate to say it...this team needs a change from the top down and the thing that sucks is, we have some decent players that wont be around for the change.

Because he's a pushover with no backbone. I've had bosses like that before and it's awesome because you can basically do whatever the hell you want without consequence. Of course they like Norv, he's their b1tch.

As was said in the Podcast a couple of weeks ago.....Norv is the leagues' "cockroach".., he can't be killed.

If the U.S. gets nuked tomorrow, Norv will still be pacing the sidelines as the head coach of the Chargers. :poop:

cough, cough cough. It sucks to see the bolts pizz away the first half leads. Its almost like they are told to "play like sh!t" in the second half.... because that's what it looks like.

Not much I can add in most areas, so I'll give my two cents on this. Players like playing for him because he treats them like adults that can self-motivate. He doesn't go ra-ra, he doesn't tear into people publicly, etc. In a perfect world, we could assemble a group of players that were able to win with this approach. But that is not the case. The NFL is half idiots and divas who need to be directed by a LEADER. Not a buddy or even a coach, a LEADER. I would love to see a team who could take care of themselves and let the coach gameplan, but I don't think it exists.

We keep a bum like this who NO ONE IN THE LEAGUE would hire after we let him go and we ditch all the talent. Case in point: Jacob Hester. Trade up for him, keep him around, yet he CAN'T EVEN CRACK ANOTHER TEAM's ROSTER!

I haven't posted in forever, but I, like the rest of you, am sick and tired of Norv's " commitment to under achievement". All I keep seeing in every game we chock away is the same, predictable, conservative, play calling. When ever we get a lead, or are in field goal range Norv dials up runs or short passing plays. If I can sit on my couch and know what's coming, than every single defensive coordinator knows it too. Look at all the games we've lost. Norv and his screen to Ronnie Brown and his draw play need to go ! Watching the Chargers is like walking into a room full of necked woman and finding out they are all lesbians. Excilleration at first.....Let down in the end. Peace

This is interesting watching this sinking ship. It feels different this year, worse than past years. It's like a slow disaster brewing that just keeps getting worse. I do think Norv is gone, but the Chargers are just in absolute meltdown mode right now.

Congrats to Vincent Jackson. Jumped off this sinking ship with a boatload of money (pun intended) and

Norv is the Keyser Soze of the NFL. "The greatest trick Norv has ever pulled was to convince GM's he doesn't suck"

he may looked like a coach, but that was about as close as he came to being a coach

I'm not even frustrated any more. I just watch the game as calmly as possible and wait for the inevitable meltdowns that lead to us losing. Every once in a while I am surprised and we win a game.

Why frustrated? You know what's coming every week. Right?

Next week will be more of the same only worse because Peyton and Elway will be licking each others teeth as Philip throws a red zone pick 6 to seal a victory for those jackazzes.

It's over kids. The chargers probably won't even finish 500. As long as Philip continues to kill them with his stupid decisions, they will not have anyone else to rally around. They may like playing for Norv, but clearly that's not enough.

Life is too good in San Diego. These guys lose and I see em laughing like jolly kids as they congratulate the opponent after the game.

Look at Rivers now too. While he's not smiling, he certainly doesn't have that same fire in his eyes that he did just a couple of years ago.
