Halliday singles to right, Helton scores the winning run.

Rocks win 3-2 in 11 innings.

    Game over, drive safely.

Bummer man! We take it 11 innings, but don't pull it out. Padres need a serious run soon.

5-8, last place in the NL west. I give them a couple more weeks. If they don't get on a win streak, fire Bochy!

They played a great game, but lack of clutch hitting lead to their demise. This team, IMHO, is still learning to play with each other. When you look out and see only Khalil, RFoberts and Giles left over from last year's squad, you hafta 'spect a rough early going.

But already, newcomers like Barfield, Ben and Castilla are beginning to make an impact. Plus the starting pitching is startin ta come around.

There'a alotta good thingsta look for'ard to with this team, so have patience!!
