    Nah, it won't crash.

At most maybe 1000 people will be on the Padres section during an important game.

During a Bolts game, I've seen as much as 4000 hitting the Chargers section.

    Something like:

"Broncos will easily beat the Bolts. NO way do the Chargers win this one."

    :icon_tease:

    Pull a Booman.

Fact remains when we put up two runs in the top of the twelth excited fans don't need the input from debbie downers, I never said that's why we lost but if you wanna talk **** (and yes even though it was what he felt would happen due to the many times it happening in the past) save your chicken pecks.

I'm as realistic as any San Diego fan, only way I've got through many years of flat out failure and still showed up to support em the next year out is staying positive.

I dunno. Just let Trevor do the saving during the regular season and when the game becomes really important (like lose and go home), let Bell do it.

His 40 save average per year must still be worth something.

Fark! 2 blown chances to put a nail in this...

    Damn.

When Hoff is off, he is just lobbing up softballs.

Closers have little value in money-ball. If Trevor wasn't such an institution, he'd have been let go last year.

He just hasn't had that big game hunter about him. Seems like the past few years he has folded in the big games.

Very good point Rich...I was blamed in this thread for the loss because I brought bad anti Hoffy carma...

I love Hoffy and appreciate all that he has done for the Pads, but his days has long passed...His change was off from the get go. He had to know that from the pin....W/out the change he is plain and simple BP.

He was in Colorado. That thin air does not do anything for almost any ball that requires movement.

Just about every Pitcher knows this. The Colorado air sucks. Now Trevor has to rely on what?

He doesnt have an over powering fastball.

And if your ball isnt moving, you might as well put the ball on a tee, and hopefully the batter hits the ball at someone.

Maybe someone should have E-mailed this notice to Bud Black so he could have used someone else, say maybe a guy with a 95+ mph fastball.

Thatcher, who was in there just before Trevor, had all ready 3 strikeouts in 1 and 1/3 innings pitched. He was doing great.

But you know it. People would be all over that,

"Why didn’t you bring Trevor In?"

This is probably one of those predicaments that no matter what you did, it was wrong.

Trev wants to come back next year. I think he should be demoted to a set up man cuz his stuff just isnt the same.
