How she keeps getting chances is beyond me. This article illustrates what I've thought for awhile

She's the Kornakova of women's golf

Anna Kournikova never won a match; I think Michelle will. IMHO, she's gotten bad advise from her people. She needsta concentrate on LPGA events and leave the Men's tour to the men, at least until she proves she can win on THAT tour.

Plus, WE, the judges/juries/executioners need to unnerstan, she's still a teenager...again, MHO is she's gonna regret not gointa college and turning pro at such a young age...more bad advice from her peeps.

    We don't need to understand,

She turned pro, sponsors paid her millions, who picks up the tab?

    you and me

maybe she got bad advice, oh well, she's old enough to make her own decisions

Yup. Once Wie starts beating the best of the LPGA, then she might be ready to play with the men.

Four years ago, Annika Sorenstam was the top rated female and played in the Colonial tourney with the boys. She wound up missing the cut though, and ended up 96th.

Wie is the most overrated, over-hyped athlete I have ever seen. She may someday win something, but at the age of 18 she appears to be getting worse, not better. At least Kournikova made the top 10 rankings as a player and won the Australian open in doubles (not to mention being hot).

Wie might do better in a couple of years modeling swimsuits or something. Her 6' stature and long legs are apropos for that.

I remember hearing that most of the stuff her father had her do the past year and a half was to get enough money to pay for her college education entirely, and also set her up with a nice starting fund for after graduation.

In terms of going Britney, I hope it doesn't happen until she's past 18. Then we can see her "au natural" without it being a crime.

Her attitude sucks and this is likely a product of the fools running her career. She acted like the child she IS when she pulled out of a tourney so that she wouldn't score so low as to be intelligible for the tour next year.

As Nancy Lopez said in an interview, it was a big mistake to think she could compete on the men's tour. There is NO and I mean NO WAY she ever can compete at the men's level. The physical strength differences alone make it impossible.

If the morons in her camp keep pushing her the way they are, then she is already headed for a complete and total meltdown.
