...On Jacob Hester Safe To Say This Could Be His Nickname Here In San Diego????? What Y'all Think???? http://www.youtube.com/v/On5DCVJctPQ&hl http://www.youtube.com/v/rWHRwt6ucmc&hl=en
I like "WarDaddy" Want to see him run first, and I'll bet he'll be a beast. Hester reminds me of a tougher, bigger Wes Welker.....
War Daddy War Daddy is a unique and rare football term, most used in college football. It refers to a player with extraordinary ability and exceptional toughness. Reggie White, Lawrence Taylor, and Richard Seymour have been cited to be "War Daddies." Harold T. White was a coach at Mississippi's Perkinston Junior College in the 1950's is possibly the origin of the word, being a legendary hardass. Some football teams bestow a player the title in practice to denote the best player on the team. Coach Marinelli of the Detroit Lions referred to Chartric "Chuck" Terrell Darby on March 12th, 2008 as a war daddy. Marinelli stated, “He was a guy that proved to a lot of people who didn’t think he could play that he could play. He’s the toughest football player that I’ve ever been around. He’s an absolute war daddy.” Some current college football players who could be considered War Daddies are Jacob Hester and Jake Locker.
Wardaddy pimpdaddy whatever just get out there and sock somebody in the fuggin mouth especially our good friends in the AFC West.
I will take two. Not blowing smoke but this kid grew up being doubted. 2 star outta La. and even Tiger fans did a twice look! Give him the room to prove the doubters wrong and soon you will be asking for my Gumbo recipe. Watch his film. He hits the pile and poops out the other side for an extra three. He will develop, plays well hurt and no matter what ever happens to him he is and shall always be the War Daddy. Any idea when his number will be given if not already?
as SOON as I find out what number he's going to wear, that'll be my 1st ever NFL jersey. There's nothing flashy about Hester, so the casual fan will take a while to come around to him. PRE-Florida game this year, a lot of Tiger fans wanted one of our other backs getting the bulk of the carries. As I said before, he carried us to victory in that game. Everyone in Death Valley (and watching on TV) that night knew Hester was getting the ball on this drive. Notice on the last 4th down conversion, he gets hit in the backfield 1st.
Right on. I just might have to stock up for the coonass conection. Any merch guru know when they will hit the shelves? Thanks San Diego for accepting Hester and our cajun ways!
To add to his resume, his abilities on special teams is phenomenal. On kick coverage’s he is ALLWAYS on the ball. Cornbread can run er down and does so often!
Wonder if that's a shot across the bow of one Kassim Osgood? His versatility and his toughness make me like this pick up more then i did initially. For those non-southerners out there, who bestows the title of "wardaddy" on a guy?
I Don't Know But If It's The Same Title Once Bestowed On Lawrence Taylor And Reggie White....It's Definitely A Good Thing.... I Like The Fact That It Was Tim Tebow Of All People....

Wow is he handsome. Oh my.... Of course he's married. Chargers seem to like drafting young married players. I heard him on the radio the other morning and he sounded like a great guy. I'm thrilled with this acquisition. The more I watch and read about him, the more I understand why the Chargers traded up. How did he even last until the third round?
