No, torture was having to endure Ryan Leaf, what you have is an owner who will not let things go. He has to be in charge of everything! And the game has passed him by.

I guess watching Ryan Leaf would be shear torture. As for Al Davis, I hope that he finally gives this coach a chance to build and prove himself. If he doesn't, then we will be in trouble.

I can attest. The Ryan Leaf era was torture and I'm so glad he washed out of the NFL. If you were to say, "worst bust in NFL history", my first thought would be of Cryin' Ryan. :icon_evil:

Ryan Leaf was pretty pathetic. But hey, all of the NFL teams go through those phases.

    Thanks Bro!!!! :icon_toast:

The Leaf era was painful but it was all worth it to reach the era we have now!!:bolt:

And may your team build up to a good era in the future!
I think they should start with putting this year’s draft pick up for trade and see what they can get.
Multiple #1's, 2's and 3's is the way to do it!!!

Al... Please retire!!! What do you think of the possibility of Bon Jovi owning your team?:icon_razz:

You keep the faith and stick by your team too.
    Patients is a virtue!!!

I don't think of Bon Jovi owning the Raiders. I think Amy Trask is fit to take over after Al gives up his reigns or passes away.

lol. But do you know he's mentioned it?
From what I understand, he owns an Arena League team. He says he's always wanted to own a NFL team and he's considering the Raiders.
I guess because he figures they'll be available soon.

I've heard that rumor and it will not happen. I wouldn't mind seeing Carlos Santana buy the Raiders though.

Wow seriously do their O line CRY when they see how crappy they are? Is this the worst O line in the history of football, i know it is the worst 2006.

Walter isnt that bad of a QB, still is only a 2nd string backup and needs a lot more experience, and Brooks isnt that good but common. Their O line cant hold anyone. I have seen paper fold with more resistance than that. Hell the O line actually hurt Walters holding him in the crumbling pocket.

I had to rewind it a few times to see if there wasnt even an o line to start with.

GOD I dont care if they get CJ and a great QB with an O line like that you only have 2 second drops before you have to throw it.

I agree with you 100% about our O-Line. When Andrew Walter had time, he was a good passer but it didn't help that our "So Called" #1 receiver was dropping passes left & right.

Anyways, signing Brooks was a chitty move. W were better off with Kerry "The Statue/Drunk" Collins.
