    What's the point of canceling an account? If you don't want to post here anymore just don't go here anymore.

    I have plenty of forums I don't go to anymore. I just never log in to them anymore. Asking admin to cancel the account only wastes their time. It's not like your account is going to go rogue and start posting on its own if you do nothing.

    (If you're worried about privacy then clear your PM inbox and outbox. Everything else associated with your account you obviously didn't mind others seeing anyway)
