I'm not sure I could still be a fan if they move outside SD County

I might just give up the NFL completely

No one is crying. I would have the biggest bon fire and burn all of my Chargers gear and I would not shed a tear. Simply put, it would be over.

I suspect it would be easier for fans who do not attend the games on a regular basis to really give a **** where the team moves.

Chargers transend county lines and state boundries. If they leave SD I will be bummed, but they have done EVERYTHING they can to work with the idiotic city council in SD. They are not slinking out at midnight in a snow storm.

They have my support as long as they wear the bolt, and are the Chargers. Bolts are in my blood, a move out of the county cant remove that from me.

If they left they would of course take a hit in their SD fan base. Every team that leaves a city does. I cant fault anyone for fealing gilted and not following the Chargers in the event that happens.

    No they have not.

The Chargers would like for you to swallow they have done their due diligence and if you believe that, then I have some swamp land for you as prime real estate for sale.

You are full of crap. How many other teams offer to pay for the stadium, add more money to upgrade the infrastructure, and plan to hand said product over and then RENT it? The Chargers have tried working with the city and have had resistance all the way. I know you know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy who might have said something different... But lets stick to the facts for once.

If that is not enough for you, then you are a goof ball.

You buy your clandestine plan BS, I dont.

You have fallen for the Chargers bullshiit and I am not surprised at all.

Once you understand that Spanos wanted the land for FREE and when that did not happen, the excuse towel came out as to why it could not get done.

    Wake the fuc up.

The common sense thing to do was to at least explore making an offer for the land instead of acting like a rejected whore when they wanted it for FREE.

Think like a business man instead of a clown.

Wow, 600 million is free in your book? You call yourself a business man? One of us needs to wake up. That would be you.

So let Spanos buy the land. Then San Diego needs to build the stadium. I hope they have the money, because Spanos was offering the money, and the city shat on it, and you bought the cities line, which doesnt surprise me.

I bet you think there is a lone contractor on the grassy knoll too..

Do not ever run a business. It is obvious you never got past a leggo set.

Where do you get $600 million? Out of your ***?

Who the fuc gives up land for FREE in Southern California?

Aguirre is not a problem and if anyone thinks he is a stumbling block,
1.) Has never heard of construction performance bonds
    2.) does not know dick
3.) or is a Bolttalk poster who is full of ****

I'll still follow this team, as long as they stay in the Western part of the US, and keep calling themselves "Chargers".

If they do what the Titans did and treat themselves like an expansion team, forging a completely new identity, then I am history no matter where they move.

Just my opinion, the giving away of land for free sounded very fishy to me.

Tony, I know this is difficult for you, but try to for once keep a discussion about the topic not your personal insults...

Yes I have run a business. I was a COO of a very successful company for several years.

Spanos offerd 400 million to build the stadium, and later 175 million to upgrade the infrastructure around the stadium. That is 575 million... So 600 million is the rounded figure.

You have a different point of view, that is fine. But your continued personal attacks when ever anyone does not agree with you is childish in my oppinion.

Spanos has tried working with the city, has put the money up, and asked for land in return, I do not see that as the 'big rip off' you do.

Here is why; The Chargers would not OWN the stadium. They would RENT it. Do you, as a buisness guru build a hous to give it away so you can rent it? The city would also RENT the stadium to other venues making more money. The City would also get Superbowls which brings BILLIONS into the area. The resturants in the new Charger Business park would bring in tax revenue that helps the city. As far as I am concerned it is a win win for both sides.

You feel it is some big rip off and want Spanos to buy the land. I can repect that, even though it removes ALL FUNDING for the stadium, and San Diego cannot build a stadium without Spanos' funding. I know as the Donald Trump of BoltTalk, you profess to be, you are not seriously contending that Spanos should buy the land AND STILL FUND ALL THE STADIUM! That concept is just rediculous and has NO business sense.

Yeah I have ran a business and the way the Spanos' presented the propsal made business sense as it gives the city a LONG TERM way to gain revenue.

Spanos buying the land as you state ensures that the Chargers have to move. So you might as well start watching the Patriots or what ever team you are going to switch to, because your stated position ensures the move...

Do you have ANY facts to dispute this? Or are you just going to continue to piss on the floor and call it a Picaso?

Of course it is fishy. A billionare asking for 166 acres of FREE PRIME REAL ESTATE. Please. Make the city an offer.

The developer has penciled out they are making money so throw the city a bone but no.

Here come the cover up excuses and town hall meetings to suck in the unsuspecting and weak minded.

It is easy to see who bought into the lies.

the Bolts have NO intention of buying the land... as Mark Fabiani LOVES to say, "It don't pencil".... they expect to pay construction tho, hence the need to receive "additional" properties to "pencil"...

and I disagree with ya T, changing the political climate downtown would give MV a chance... VOTE Mfers...

Again, the City can not build the stadium. The stadium they would own and profit from. Spanos offered to build the stadium for the city, for the cost of 60 acres.

I dont see that as so fishy. The Spanos have to give the city a stadium, and improved infrastructure to get the land. how is that giving away?

The don't pencil arguement is another smoke screen and here is why.

The Chargers could have offered let's say for instance, one million dollars for the property. You or I will never know if the City would have sold the land for that cheap given the Chargers were doing all the infrastructure. The idea was never even considered. I find that highly suspect and so should any lay person I would imagine.

I have said it before, the political climate has very little to do with getting projects done. Petco got done. This can get done as well. It is another excuse in a series of excuses.

Again you have no facts and spew incorrect information as if it is the word of god. Get your facts straight.

The Qualcom site is 166 acres. The Spanos are asking for 60.

Those are facts Tony, not spewed incorrect statements you are throwing around.

Notice, it is 60 acres, not 166. Please get your facts straight before you start arguing.

A park, a hotel, resturants, parking structures, 25 years of guaranteed rent. I see what you dont like Tony....

No wait... I dont see it.

So you maintain as a business man, you would buy the land, and then pay for everything yourself, then hand it over to the city?

Wow... you wouldnt be in business long.

What part of getting land for free is so hard for you to get.

    You got took.

    So did many others.

    Deal with it.

Again, how much is Spanos paying for the land ? Ask this question over and over until the light comes on and when you think you have it figured out, I seriously doubt it.

Spanos is paying 600 million for the land. Do you think builging the stadium and upgrading the infrastructure is free?

What part of THAT do you not get?
