I thought that pic was kind of a turn-on, it was meant to show you that wearing flats ain’t the end of the world. Maybe it’s just me. Or maybe because being under 5’6”, I’ve been around A LOT of women who wore flat shoes. :lol: There’s always someone worse off than you. Another lady probably pulled a hammy doing that WR drill and thought “At least I didn’t tear up the entire back of my foot like that pretty brunette over there on the ground”. :lol:
as soon as you get the moisture back into the skin, the itching goes away. You have some major skin issues for a week or so, not to mention the smell after the cast was removed. But all those problems will go away with thime!
Then consider your self lucky. Wear a Cast for 6 weeks. MIne were always the straight kind, I dumped baby powder down it, that kept the skin moist, and it allowed the baby powder to pass through and not clump up.
I had one of those too ! At first I had to put a pad in the heel because I couldn't get my foot to 90 degrees.
For me it was a few months before the bruising, swelling, and discoloration went away, but the nasty looking scar took about a year to get less noticable. I still have the scar today but its hard to notice unless you're close up.
