If season ended today we currently sit at 6th in draft order. I don't see anyway we win next week at Pittsburgh either esp if Ben comes back. I'm not rooting against Chargers, but I guess higher draft order is silver lining here. Offensive Line will be a priority for a lot of teams so the higher we are the better. Teams in front of us are Panthers, Raiders, Browns, Jags, and Chiefs.
"Teams in front of us are Panthers, Raiders, Browns, Jags, and Chiefs." We win out and Norv & AJ keep their jobs...
I think a high draft pick would land us in a good position to draft not only a blue chip player in the top 10, but it'd also net us a good defensive back in the high second round too. Only problem for me is, when you get a pick between say 4-7 range, are there any blue chip OL prospects who represent good value at that spot? Then again, if the answer is no, we could always trade down.
Head to head doesn't apply in cases of a multi-way tie, and it might not apply at all period in the draft for that matter.
http://football.about.com/od/miscinformation/a/detdraftorder.htm Strength of Schedule is what's pegging us 7th of the 5 spots 6-10 currently held by 4-8 teams. Also, head to head is not a consideration, so if the Chiefs and Jags somehow win 2 more games each, we might be picking first!
Maybe the LT from Texas A&M At least all of those mock draft videos en nfl.com, espn.com, etc will feature the Chargers (they always show the top 10)
