There's no reason to melt down when you can reasonably assume that the chargers will finish this season 8-8. Just relax and let it happen...
Im not so concerned with the schedule and our non conference games... we just need to take care of the division 9-7 is most likely gonna win this division... on MNF against the broncos a win puts us 2 games up in the division with the tie breaker for time being over the broncos which would basically make it a 3 game lead while a loss puts us in 2nd place.. talk about a MUST WIN
I find it much more relaxing to blindly assume they can just as easily go 3-13 or 14-2 and win the Super Bowl. I don't worry about what will happen in the future, good or bad. I just watch the games and see what happens. I'm all for analyzing what's already in the books, though. But I've grown to hate trying to predict what'll happen in the future, good or bad. There's no point in setting yourself up for lofty expectations when there's a chance they can choke and make the loss suck even more than it does on its own. Conversely, there's no point in assuming they'll suck when you don't know if they will. Now you're assuming things that may not be true. But, I guess we agree on the last part of your post. Just relax and let it happen. I just don't necessarily buy into the "it" specifically and outright being 8-8. That's just one of multiple possibilities.
The Donks schedule eases up later on. They could easily go 10-6, or even 11-5 if they sweep us. But yeah, those 2 games are huge.
If your hypothesis is correct, but your reasoning and science behind it is garbage, are you still right?
I don't see how losing 2 games in a row proves anything. Again, you missed my point. Take a look at your original statement. Do you not see the logic fail of saying "every year=x" and then saying, "but last year=y" and then claiming it's "predictable"?
Norv hater or not, he called a horrible second half two weeks in a row and our Defense and Rivers couldn't respond. Again, why put the ball in Rivers hands with a lead, field goals and time would have won that game, Rivers wanted to put an exclamation on the win. Whether it's season long or not, that's two meltdowns in a row on National TV that really can fall right on Rivers and Turner. Turner puts the ball in Rivers hands too often when we have a lead, pure arrogance and Rivers repeatedly makes bad decisions and then yells at refs, other team, Norv....pathetic
