Dear San Diego Sports Fans, The charged "air of electric excitement" is back! And in Full Force! Fueled by the Padres completely unexpected dramatic faith restoring comeback win over the Giants in San Fran on Wednesday, we have clearly put behind the deep disappointment of a "Sad Diego" last weekend and now once again look forward with great anticipation to a spectacular winning weekend for our major San Diego sports teams. Starting tonight, our Padres take on the "New" Nationals who are fighting for their own NL Wild Card Playoff Race life. Sorry GNats. Given Peavy, Eaton, and the surprising Astacio staring you down from the mound, consider yourself fortunate if you do not get swept out of San Diego this weekend. Better yet, with the Dodgers and Giants spending their weekend beating up on each other, we are ready to wake up Monday morning to find at the very least one and perhaps both of these hated rivals psychologically eliminated from the NL West Race. On Saturday, we are prepared for the truly unimaginable to happen. Our traditional double digit underdog Aztecs will shock Ohio State in Ohio. And we are not talking about just another "Dark Side" close loss here. Somehow someway through hook or crook, we dream of our Aztecs rising from two weeks of ashes to light up and defeat Mighty Ohio State on National TV and thus finally begin the phoenix-like journey back to long lost and much sought national recognition. Of course, in the end we will accept and still somewhat celebrate a moral victory one last time but nothing less. And then comes Sunday. We greatly anticipate watching the Flood Gates Open as our Chargers sweep over and crush the Broncos to record their first victory in 5 years in Denver. In a hoped for demonstration of dominance from start to finish, our Chargers' explosive offense, electrifying defense, and exciting special teams will nonetheless without doubt this weekend serve Official Notice to the NFL that "Yes!, This is the Year of the Bolts!". Just Wait For Next Weekend is Here!
