The goal of Citizens 4 the 21st Century Stadium is to build a community-based voice of support composed of sports fans and non-fans alike, residents of the City of San Diego and surrounding communities/cites within San Diego County itself, and Fans of San Diego residing across the country. It is incumbent that the voice of all those supporting a new stadium be heard loud and clear. Our shared purpose is to "publicly motivate" the City Council to make a good faith effort in structuring and reaching a win-win new stadium deal, placing the new stadium proposal on the ballot in November 2006, and promoting its approval by the voters of San Diego. </blockquote>
