Leinart isn't playing. So ...... we get to see Kurt Warner. 4 starts. 5 INT's. 10 fumbles (3 lost). Warner is a statue in the pocket. * - Props to "stanfouts" on Chargers.com for the photoshop !!!
Man, we are going to knock Kurt Warner out of the game. I just checked the depth chart for the Arizona Football Cardinals, and their #3 QB is John Navarre. We are going to put him on his *** too. :icon_rofl:
I hate to take away from the macho or mojo of this thread.. but I'll tell a story that's been relayed to me a few times. Kurt Warner was working in a WalMart during the summer of one of his college years. He met a girl whom he really liked and asked her out of few times. She was rather hesitant but never said why. He would later find out the why. She finally accepted a date with him but when he got to her house to pick her up, she met him at the door and told him that she would have to cancel. She had a toddler boy at home who was handicapped/in a wheel chair. She had a hard time finding babysitters for him and the person who had agreed to babysit had backed out on her at the last minute. Kurt suggested that they bring the baby along. He was very good with the boy from the first date....and going forward. I'll make this story short. He married this girl and is father to this boy and their their natural children.. I'm not sure what condition his adopted son has... but know that Kurt has been very involved in fund raisers for the related national organizations.
Yeah - well - to get this back on macho track, I hope after the game Kurt Warner is in a wheelchair as well after we rupture his uterus. :ABQ2:
I've heard that same story, and to my knowledge, its true. That said, when he lines up at QB this Sunday, well...
He is old and still somewhat dangerous. Kind of in his Flutie stage of life now. Watch for the drop kick.
I hope the team isn't looking past this game like all of us here. Warner did win the big one, and if given time, has excellenbt receivers. We're dinged up, and if we come out flat, we could get embarassed, just as we head into the post-season. I think AZ and Kurt are gonna get owned, but I try to keep a sense of cautious vigilance to these underperforming teams.
sleep on no-one is my motto no matter how washed up they seem homefield advantage is huge huge huge go chargers
Ok Carrie as the father of an autistic son you really got me with that one.:crying: That was one of the reasons I always rooted for Flutie. I never wish for anyone to be hurt:innocent: but I sure wouldn't mind seeing us set the franchise record for sacks! :icon_bow: Ok I wouldn't mind seeing him get severly dinged.
That's frickin' funny. Warner is a lot like Flutie .... except taller .... and slower ..... and less athletic ..... and both of their wives look like men .... Have y'all ever seen Flutie's wife? This is not a photoshop.
He prolly oftens tells the guys in the locker room: "My wife could beat up your wife" :icon_rofl: j/k
You never know what you'll find when you google "Brenda Warner"... :icon_rofl: For those not in the know, this is what Kurt's wife really looks like:
