I haven't seen much of Fresno this year but I hear they supposedly have a few great NFL prospects on defense so why have they been giving up so many points all year long? Anyway, I like the under because Zabransky always runs for like 7 minimal gains a game which is good for 5 minutes off the clock = 1/12th of the game with no damage to the total. Boise should be in shutdown mode on defense at home. The one thing that bothers me is Fresno State's 3rd down defense which is one of the worst in the league. Fresno has yet to intercept a pass either. But anyway it seems like the final score will be something like 42-10 Boise. Fresno runs the ball a LOT and Boise WILL shut down their running game. Should eat the clock. Maybe Boise -25.5 is the smarter bet. I just don't know enough about Fresno.

Eric Kaselias' pregame should be on ESPN 710 for you (ESPN 800 down here). He also does a kickass show during the week in the afternoons after Dan Patrick. You don't get that one though because 710 has that gey show w/ Steve Mason during the same time slot, and ESPN 800's signal out of San Diego has trouble getting past Carlsbad. I'm serious. It's really pathetic.

Check it out; if 710 airs it I am sure you'll like it. It beats the hell outta Mr. Rogers/ Jim Gray.

I'm constantly channel-flipping, so I would've heard the dude if 710 aired it. Mason-Ireland are still on when I get in the car. :icon_evil:

Boise wins out they have an outside shot at a BCS game. Last year they played Boston College in a bowl game...... that was a great game and they almost won in the final seconds but Zabransky threw an INT in the endzone which ended the game.

Well the reason why Boise didn't cover against NMST is because NMST passed the ball 65 times. Boise's strength on defense is their front seven, particularly their linebackers. They are very effective against teams that need to establish the run and against teams that throw quick passes and try to get the ball out of the quarterback's hands as quickly as possible. Their defensive backs can make plays but struggle to stick with receivers for longer than 5 seconds and therefore they also struggle somewhat against mobile quarterbacks who can buy time and teams that rollout their QBs. So the question is, what type of offense does Fresno run and have they shown the ability to protect the quarterback or allow the quarterback to have 4.5+ seconds to thrown the ball

The problem with gambling is that there is only one true stop - which is when your balance hits zero.

Gambling is just one big roller coaster of ups and downs. So essentially gambling is just one big pattern of swings. There is no upper limit on the up swing to make you stop, but there is on the down. What happens as we win, we begin to increase our bets and the swings are bigger. We win more, but we go bust faster as well. Then we buy in again hoping that we can recreate the streak - and have the discipline to quit when we reach a benchmark.

The bottom line is that gambling is a losing proposition - how else can Nevada have no sales tax, a financially sound government, and billion dollar casinos still being built.

Gambling should be recreation, not investment. My grandfather's take on gambling is "What's mine is mine, what's yours is yours" reflects the idea that if you are gambling to make money, it might be becoming a problem.
