Funny story, he was kayaking witht eh scouts recently and his scout master paddled up to him and saw him astride the kayak with both feet in the water. He could see that his boots were on his feet (his only footwear as he rolled and lost his flip flops). he said "Hey Fred, your boots are in the water."

Without a pause my son says "I know, they are water proof..."
