I like Minny to win. Johnson will be getting great protection and should be able to disect the Skins defense. The ground game should keep the chains moving. The defense should be able to limit Washington to 17 points or so. I don't care how many receivers they brought in, it's not enough to help em win ballgames. If Minny wins I will have a ridiculous amount riding on the Chargers game with my 15 game pickem, pool bet and parlay :icon_eek: Good luck to one and all.
I dunno mang, lets not forget how good Clinton Portis CAN be. I really don't know if the 'skins o-line has made any progress, but if they can clear a path Portis will burn the Vikes all night long. Johnson is hardly a world-beater... Either way this game is too close for me to call. (In all fairness I'm probobly a little biased as I lived in the DC area for about 5 years and have a slighty fondness for the 'skins).
Even though MTL and L took a few hits this weekend, they are still, what, 75% or something like that?
Oh yeah, BTW I don't know if anyone was listening to ESPN Radio a little before midnight on saturday night, but I happen to be leaving my friend's house and tuned in to hear the V Show was going to commercial and then their "shots in the dark" segment where callers pick the best bet again the vegas line. So I grabbed my cell phone with the quickness and dialed in. Sure enough I was the first call they took and exuberantly proclaimed the Chargers -3 to be the bet of the week. The host actually made a couple very complimentary remarks regarding my call and all and all I was pretty stoked! BTW The casino I was @ last night had the Chargers -2.5 so I had to place ANOTHER bet, I LOVE IT!
Sounds about right to me. BTW leisure congrats on the wins you are a god among handicappers :icon_bow: :icon_bow: :icon_bow:
It's amazing. :icon_bow: -2.5, AWESOME. Although I don't think that the line is going to come into play. I just went in for more too. I just couldn't resist. It's so hard to say NO to FREE MONEY. MAN! THIS IS GOING TO BE A FUN ONE!!!! Bolts 31 Raiders 3 :icon_banana: :icon_banana: :icon_banana: :icon_banana:
I think I'm going to chill on the parlays especially on NFL games. Cincy hooked me up so I'm good because my fantasy teams didn't do crap thanks to Seattle.
MIN PROBABLE RB Mewelde Moore (Knee) CB Fred Smoot (Ribs) WAS DOUBTFUL CB Shawn Springs (Abdomen) QUESTIONABLE RB Clinton Portis (Shoulder) PROBABLE DE Renaldo Wynn (Ankle) Whoa I didn't even realize Shawn Springs is doubtful. I am starting to feel very good about this game. Has nothing to do with Portis seeing limited to no action. Improved blocking (Hutch, Richardson) and a powerhouse defense if the LBs can keep it together...
I personally wouldn't bet this one, but two trends make it pretty tempting... Minnesota: 5-1 Under vs. NFC East opponents Washington: 6-20 ATS at home first month of the season And I think that's pretty nice team Minny has...
The most blatant mismatch is the Minny O-line vs. the Washington D-Line. Minny should be able to open up huge holes for ISO runs. All Richardson needs to do hit a linebacker in the mouth and the Minny ground game should be booming tonight. Once Archuleta and Taylor start cheating, Williamson will be off to the races. Wiggins should cause matchup problems as well. Very underrated tight end.
I rarely bet MLs I have my strategy and I stick to it. I don't want to start betting MLs and be forced to feed my kids dogchit for supper because of some city slicker named leisure :icon_rofl:
Yah bowling green was a shocker but I blame it partially on the weather and field conditions. I need to start using that super doppler radar system before I confirm every bet :icon_mrgreen:
Speaking of Las Vegas... I got 18-1 on the Bolts winning it all... paying $760, netting $720 for $20... I'll suffer... :icon_mrgreen:
I spaced all of my futures while reading up on the games last week. THAT would be a SWEET ticket to cash in.
