Hey TK I hear that japanese people who own businesses try to act more asian in order to give the customer the 'asian' experience they expect by doing business with the person. For example, I go to this benihana style restaurant sometimes and one of the chefs makes all these stupid noises while he's cooking and I'm like 'you don't have to do that' and he stopped, but he would still do it for other customers. Can you confirm this? Edit: I shouldn't say act more 'asian' but act more like a north american perceives an asian.
It's probably true with benihana restaurants, it is part of the "show". Don't think it applies to other businesses. My dad owned a pharmacy and never rolled that way. I'd ask my gardener, but he's mexican. :lol:
Yeah I have come to the realization that asians are pretty good businessmen. They act like they don't know **** but they end up emptying your pockets :icon_rofl: At the same restaurant we ordered hot sake and asked the waitress how many bottles we would need for 3 people and she said 2, so we order 2. Turns out these bottles are ****ing GIGANTIC not 720ml but 1.8L and not 32 but 40 proof and we could hardly finish one between the 3 of us. It was good but fuc we left like 3/4 of the second bottle. I bet the waitress saved that **** for her break :lol:

Doing it in chat might not work too well. You won't be able to review everyone's picks afterwards, or the smartass comments. :no: It would also help to be more lenient with the rules; the last draft I participated in was a little too anal retentive for my taste:
Hey I worked my azz off to get the leisureworld draft done and while everyone was critizing me for being the draftnazi leisure was telling you that I HAD to be a draftnazi otherwise it would never have gotten done. Ask leisure, the guy knows that to get it done one man has to step up and tell everyone what to do and if they don't do it leisure kicks their *** for me. Last year we did it in the chat and it was a great event, I posted the results live on the message board. It was fucing intense people are pming me and everyone is saying this or that I can't pay attention to it all so I had to be nazi-like and say "shut the **** up just give me your pick and shut up". Sorry if you don't like it but it's the only way to get it done, and last year we pulled it off with great success
Uhm... Well, it's a forum mock draft... We all choose a team or teams, depending on how many posters are interested in participating and we conduct a mock draft. Last year I had the Vikings and the Bears. We get about two weeks to study up on our teams before we make our selections. Of course the draft is sponsored/conducted by LeisureWorld, leisure and MTL. Last year, leisure didn't want "girls" in the mock draft, but MTL let me in... :icon_mrgreen:

Hey guys there will be a special celebrity guest attending the leisureworld draft this year but I can't reveal who. Also this year I am making a flyer for the draft and inviting people to WATCH the draft. That's right, we are so big now that people will be privileged to even attend in the chatroom.
