But EC saves the weekend with the TCU/Louisville parlay! :icon_banana: Yes, I know Vegas was built on the parlay, but it's opening weekend and I'm not risking the big bucks. :icon_banana: :icon_banana: :icon_banana: :icon_banana: :icon_banana:
EC who do you like tomorrow. leisure and I have put a combined 8 hours of research into tomorrow's game :icon_eek: and we're not ready to release it to the public but I will PM you our thoughts if you plan on playing before the line movement
I like FSU but I'm not sure I want to put $$$ on it. If I do it won't be alot. Just enough to keep things interesting.
I'll wait, but if you are going to parrot Herbstreit save it. I recognize a streak, and respect that BIG. I'm looking forward to your analysis. Either way, I wouldn't put much on this game.
Yah you're right we'll charge $$ for those :icon_mrgreen: PS: EC sit tight right now we will release the official boot tomorrow in the early afternoon we just have to take care of some minor details to make sure we are locked in and not just dipping our feet for action
I'm only posting in here to serve some info regarding the Miami-FSU rivalry and the impending game. This rivalry has seen about 50 matchups, but really took off in the mid-1980s. Miami has a very good chance at winning this one, and covering the 3.5 points. 1.) FSU hasn't won in Miami since 1996, and the game is being played in Miami at the Orange Bowl. 2.) The last time the Miami Hurricanes lost a season opener at home in the Orange Bowl was 1985. 3.) However, these two have meet each other in their respective season openers 10 times, and FSU holds the advantage 6-4. This is presented as a caveat. 4.) The last 15 times these teams have played each other, the team that has scored first has won 14 of those times. The lone time being 2004, where FSU scored first in the Orange Bowl in Miami, but Miami came back and won 16-10. 5.) Extending #4, the team that scored first has won 19 of the last 21 times. 6.) Miami is returning their QB Kyle Wright, who is a junior now and has a full year running the offense. 7.) Since 1999, Miami's defense ranks in the top 5 in the nation in terms of scoring. 8.) Of the 8 games decided by 3 points or less since 1983, Miami has won 7 of them. The lone exception being last year's 10-7 loss in Tallahassee. 9.) Since 1973, Miami is 10-1 in games decided by 4 points or less. The lone exception is again last year's 10-7 loss in Tallahassee. 10.) The last 5 times Miami has beaten FSU at the Orange Bowl, the average margin of victory has been 5.5 points. Pick: Miami -3.5 vs. FSU
I agree with the coin flip philosophy so I took the points and the under (39). These games are always about D. Should be a blast tonite! GL to anyone betting (unless you are betting the opposite of my bets obviously )!
I like the 3.5 points just because a missed FSU FG at the end won't come back to bite us in the ***.
