Speaking of nothing special... how about that kid "Russell" the RB from Minnesota who had the entire year off because he got suspended. They were talking about how he showed up about 20 lbs overweight, did 9 reps of 225 and then ran that horrid 4.8something.

What a waste of time having that dude participate. Don't they have some kind of screening process? I mean, to think that there is probably a handful of small school guys who could be there instead of this dude. But instead they don't get the invite, while this tub o' **** gets to disappoint everyone.

Yeah they said his grades were so bad he couldnt even get into a lower division school that would take him.

    He'll go undrafted.

USC OL and WR have flat out SUCKED in the NFL for quite a few years.

Just say "NO" to more overrated USC players.

    WHOA:
Wide receiver Steve Smith of USC. Smith ran the 40, unofficially, in 4.37 and 4.35. He did well in the shuttle. I seem to hear nothing but hesitant comments about Dwayne Jarrett, and at this point, I expect Smith to be the first of the two USC receivers to be chosen.
    Article from Foxsports.com

I don't recall seeing any reports having Smith running this fast. I always thought he'd be the better pro prospect. Dwayne Jarrett is a turd. He's just not as fat a turd as BMW.

but not so overrated that if he were to fall to, lets say, 30, he would be a bad pick up.

Ginn is a freaking China Doll.

Posters here bash Eric Parker for getting nicked up, but Ginn is far more fragile. Every OSU game I saw had him going off limping at one time or another.

Also, OSU WR Gonzalez doesn't strike me as anything special. Reminds me of Camarillo.

Dude I want to see workout is that big Italian kid from Oregon State... the safety... Sabby Piscitelli... big ol' *** kid (like me) who can knock the snot outta' people. If he runs 4.5ish I think he's worth a look for a 3rd round or day 2 pick.

Gonzalez is a scrub the only reason you hear his name is because of exposure on national television. I suppose if SDSU were on national tv as much as OSU Kassim Osgood would have been a first rounder :icon_shrug: Seriously there are a LOT of pretenders in this draft and it all involves people like Rmancil talking about them like they are gawds. Some guy was going around guaranteeing that the minnesota RB would be a superstar in the NFL :icon_shrug:

Here are some more scrubs off the top of my head:

    Drew Stanton
    Antonio Pittman
Jacoby Jones (this guy can KMA)
    Ryan Harris
    Mashal Yanda
    etc..

There are a shiatload of Florida players who are overrated as hell.

    Here are some real men;

    Trent Edwards
    Brandon Jackson
    David Ball
Daniel Bazuin (this guy is a gawd)
    Marcus Thomas
    Stephen Nicholas
    Marvin White

i'd want to re-run smith and if so then put him on my list

I'm most disappointed in Higgins, thought he'd be faster

As for WR's Meachum is $$ guys he has the potential to be a blazer in the NFL. Sidney has major potential as well being only 20 years old and as saavy on the field as he is.

Steve Smith has been flying under the radar for years @ USC because of Bush, Jarrett, and Williams.
