There's lots of interest but the direction this is going to go has been sort of confusing. We went from stating our interest in the Mock Draft, to a sign up sheet, to hearing that teams would be assigned to us. We have: Leisure MTL Chispa Me Ant IAD The Rock The Lash Underoath AND MORE... I have to go back and look at who said they were interested.
That is 9 people for 32 teams. I am not sure this thread is retaining enough interest to remain stickied. Hell even the two who are 'running' this thread have shown little interest.
Go ahead and unsticky it... No biggie....BUT.... please let them start a Mock Draft thread in the main forum... If we have to bump it once a day to keep it up there... that's fine...
Where is your quoted post from. It is not from this thread? Nor is it accurate as at least two names on the list said they would not be participating.
Why would you want to use the main forum? There is no prestige to it, and there is a full forum dedicated only to the draft where the thread belongs. If users use the new posts options, individual forums are near obsolete.
Again why is there a need for the main forum?:icon_shrug: Why are we creating forums for the poster here if they do not intend to ever use them?
I don't think that's the case Conc.. I think more people access the Main forum than the Draft forum... Those who might be interested in the Mock Draft might not start actively reading the Mock Draft threads until the draft gets a little closer. We want to be sure that they learn of the great opportunity to participate in our Mock Draft when they visit the Chargers Forum. This is a BT sponsored activity, why not market it a little??? Well, anyway that is just my opinion... Don't really want to squabble about it.
So does this mock draft still need GM's or is it all filled up? If it's full just boot someone out and give me his team.

You need to be a lot less sensative. There is no squabbling going on here. It is a fact. We created a forum specifically for the draft, now I am getting the message that the forum wont get people who are interested in the draft, because it is in... the draft forum... This makes sense?:icon_huh:
Really, I'm not being sensitive... Just asking you to think outside the box a bit... We are trying to quickly assess the interest there would be in a Mock Draft... In doing so we want to reach as many people as possible. The main forum, is the best spot for this. We might even want something on the home page for that matter. It's important to get everyone signed up soon so they have time to study their team(s) etc before we hold the Mock.... Once we get everyone signed up for this thing... we can move everything related to the Mock Draft to the draft forum if you feel that strongly about it.
