Well it's a little too early for Santa.....:icon_mrgreen: That's good. I'm going to try to be in town that weekend, too...
Not jes me, silly-Utah at San Diego State!! We're gonna kick Utah's asss!!!:icon_mrgreen: And I'm gonna be thereta seeit, personal!! Life is good!!
Oh, I should try to go to THAT game, wearing my red and white.  My neice graduated from SDSU last year. I should bring her too...
Life is good because Toby gets to drive to Ft. Hood and be reunited with his son today! I'm so happy for him! Smilies all around.
It sounds cheesy. As in Philip...which is why I'm feelin ohhhh soooo goooood right now. But seriously, Thumper...it's quite cool to see a dude say something like this. I think it's why I dig songwriters so much. They can do it and get away with it. My sister is going through some crap, my Mom is having a malignant skin cancer removed today, the friend I babysit for is going through custody war hell with her own daughter's little baby...her daughter isn't fit to be a mother and her husband up and just quit his job Friday. So yeah, from my little corner of the world. I have little to ***** about. Things can always be worse and none of us ever take the time to say thanks for the things that we're really grateful or happy about. To sum it up, there's things that matter and things that matter most and them's the things we often forget to be grateful for. Teresa
amen girl!! my girls can be class A *****es but they can be the sweetest bestest things God ever put on this earth. I'm proud to say that 99% of the time, they are not selfish and do appreciate what they have.
congrats to my Bolt Angel...but i'm confuzzled...ur post count says 3000 something???? help the dumb blonde! LOL
4 power...she was justa 3 something...but she said she was a 1000 something...i'm soooooooooooooooooooo confusedddddddddddddddddddd:icon_tease:
Every single day I thank God for what I have and try not to take it for granted although life is far from perfect...health is truly a blessing though and if you are healthy you always have a second chance... My beautiful 52 year old cousin just died a few days ago :icon_cry: from a rare form of fast moving lung cancer...and she never smoked a single day in her life...she had so many plans and just opened her own practice...she has no second chance so I feel grateful I have everything I have in my life....You can't take life for granted.
I've been wonderin whereta post this missive froma Special Forces Brother in Phoenix since I got it late last night...this seems like the place- Hi Guys, Son pulled a bit of a trick on us tonight. Wife had invited son and daughter-in-law over for dinner. She had made a great homemade chicken pot pie in the big old black cast iron pot. Ever notice how much better everything taste if it is cooked in a big old black cast iron pot? Son and his wife had about 3 helpin' of that C.P.P. Then they asked if we would like to see some of their photos from the cruse they had taken last month? Of course we would, so son handed a stack of photos to his Mom, with instructions to pass them on to me after she looked at them. Bunch of Geeees, Uuuuuuuus, Ahhhhhs, and wows later she came to the last photo. She looked at it from a couple of different angles and then asked Michael (our son) what??? He said hand it to Dad, bet he can tell what it is? One quick look and I smiled and handed it back and said look at it again, it is a tester and it reads positive Grandma. This was followed with lots of hugs and kisses and a tear or two as they confirmed that that was what was in the photo. A photo of her positive test. Needles to say there will be a bunch of prayers said between now and next April. Of course it is way too soon to say but they both refer to the child to be, as a Her. Asked them if there is a preference and both say no, just healthily. They must have enjoyed the pot pie, as he asked his Mom to put any of the left over into a zip lock bag for him to take home. There went that idea for lunch tomorrow. Just going to have to make up a pot of ham hocks and beans or maybe chili for lunch? What ever it is, is sure to taste good cooked in that old black cast iron pot. Jerry a few months away from being a Grandpa 4xs over .......in Phx
