OWINGS MILLS, Md., Sept. 28 -- Bill Johnson, a lifelong Baltimore football fan, remembers the first time he watched Ray Lewis during a Baltimore Ravens training camp session, and how he was struck by the passion the linebacker brought to the practice field. It reminded him of one of the young players he was coaching at Frederick Douglass High in Upper Marlboro.
"I saw how much he had invested, even in practice," Johnson said. "That was Shawne. That's the type of person Shawne is."</blockquote>
