Let's see how Wilhelm plays with a healthy calf. I really want to be wrong about this.

Alright alright, I guess that'll have to do. But I'm a lot easier to please than most people here (unless you're playing against an unprepared oakland defense, in which case 500 passing yards is only marginally impressive).

The only other time I changed my AV was two years ago in a bet with Leisure, USC vs ND. That was the "Bush Push" game at South Bend. :icon_evil:

    Getting back to betting,

Cowboys -13 versus the Ram-ettes looks good.

The way the 'Boys offense has been scoring, and the Rams falling flat on their faces this season, this looks like a good bet.

Yes, are you? Let's meet up!

I haven't decided whether to hit a restaurant or Trumpies for pregame yet. One option has great food, service, air conditioning, TV's with morning games, bathrooms... The other has Trumpy... Fuq it, I just decided. I will be hitting up Gordon Biersch or Seau's before the game and heading to the stadium from there around noon.

I am resisting the temptation to take this "stinks like fish" remark and run with it. :icon_toast:

Another bet I'm going to try to talk you out of.

Slug do you have a hard-on for chalk? Seriously though, double digits in the NFL is terrifying, and I think the Rams are due to put some points up on the board. They only scored three this week and they just have too much talent to continue to underproduce on offense. They're still finding themselves on offense without their all-world tackle, but the Dallas secondary is good but not exceptional and Holt and Bruce will put a couple in the endzone.

How do you guys feel about Cleveland +4 versus Ravens, or even to beat them outright ML +187?

The Ravens haven't looked too impressive this season. Even their vaunted defense has been giving up points, and the Browns offense is starting to click.

The game is in Cleveland, and the Brownies have played the Ravens very tough at home the past 3 years.

Cool and yes I'm leaning towards going down there. I usually wind up at Seau's before the game and take the limo ($20 round trip). I just need to decide if I'm gonna stay the night or not.

I'll PM you once I know everything as I have one thing on sunday I'll need to reschedule. :bolt:

BTW before the Jets playoff game a couple years ago we took the limo and a few mexican dudes from AZ were in there with their stripper and we got a free show. They owned strip clubs out there. That was nice.

I, personally, still think the Browns suck. But Jamal Lewis is the kind of back who can actually have some success against the Ravens D. Plus it's his return to Baltimore and he may be playing with a little chip on his shoulder. I like it about 100 x better than DAL -13.

I just think the Cowboys will be able to outpace (ahem) the Rams.

Dallas hung up 34 on Chicago in the Windy City and 37 in Miami, beating both by at least 17 points. Now they get to face a surprisingly weak Rams team in the comfort of their own home.

    Added: Steelers -6 @ AZ.

Like I said last week, the Steelers are elite. They are going to PACK that place with Steelers Fans, and are playing a game in a stadium where the Super Bowl is this year. They are giong to be fired up.

They just thrashed the 49ers 37-16, and the Niners beat the Cardinals week one.

Steelers by at least two TD's.

The game is in Cleveland. That's why I'm leaning on the Brownies +4, or even to win outright.

If it was in Baltimore, I wouldn't be so confident.

If I may point out, neither Miami nor Chicago has any sembelance of an offense. Grossman handed the 'boys that game on a silver platter. The Rams should be able to move the ball and control the clock, which will make all the difference.

    Could be.

I just see the 'Boys ganging up on the Rams quickly and knocking them out early, like the Pats did to the Bolts.

Nice bet the steelers over AZ at -6.

I was surprised that Lienart was benched and warner came in and lit it up. :icon_eek:

SF +2 at home vs. Seattle might be too tempting to pass up.
