Notre Dame is facing Mich State. I root for ND, but I don't think the Golden Domers' offense is anywhere capable of staying within even 2 TDs of MSU's. Not yet. MSU has scored 100 points in 3 games, or 33 points per game average. Notre Dame has scored a whopping 13 points in 3 games. Not even 5 points per game average. And their offense has only scored 6 points, 2 measly FG, of those 13 points. Notre Dame +12 is a loser. The OL and QB are experiencing growing pains that will last all season.
Hey Chispa, I hope you're feeling better ! When I ruptured my achilles, it was the toughest thing I ever went through my entire life. :icon_sad:
Chippie - I agree with him too about ND. Too slow, too small, too young. This might be the year that Navy finally beats the Irish. Seriously.
The spread has nothing to do with what the odds makers believe the % is of a team meeting the spread. The spread is set for the public and the wager. The idea is to get 50% of the bettors' wagers on both sides. So, for instance +17, if everyone started betting on the bills to cover, the line would lower, so people would bet on the pats to cover. The idea is to create a balance in the wager on the event. Vegas doesn't lose money this way since they don't pay 1/1.
leis, if your dream is clean or fairly clean, I'd like to hear about it... I like to interpret dreams sometimes.
I didn't think you were cranky, but could tell you weren't feeling like yourself. No tellin' how I'd be in your situation... I'd have my good and bad days too.
My post is no funnier than you dreaming about Chippie... Jihad, so that's what they're calling it these days... :icon_mrgreen:
Is that why you Pm'ed me saying I was a fat slob, who couldnt write anything worth reading to save the lives of my sons, and how if I was the last Charger fan on earth and dying of thirst you would not spit on me? Is that why you sent that? Hanesty?:icon_sad:
Back to the NFL. Things to consider.. Looking at the under in the Broncos/Jags game... Two of the lowest scoring offenses this year, I think. Match up of two pretty good defenses. Right now the o/u is 35.5 Dogs at home this week. Atlanta, Houston, Green Bay... Prolly won't touch them unless Houston has tons of points. Then again, Andre Johnson might be out for the Texans... If Pennington is out, Miami might be a team to look at... and they really need a win. Lots of injuries so early in the season
Yeah, the under might be good for the Donks/Jags. I'm thinking the score is 20-14 or something, which falls in the under. Jags have scored just 10 or 13 points at home, and might be held to just 10 or 14 in Denver. I see the Broncos scoring about 17 or 20 at home versus the Jags.
So, what's your point? She can't post on the UT forum anymore unless you say so? Why should she mention LLV? That's your and MTL's creation. Do your own advertising.
