    Halftime wagers

I am going to start tracking these closely. Not the number, but the juice. I took NY pk +100 last night, and it hit. The Eagles were pk -120. It's not the first time this year that I have hit on a halftime wager that the books were begging me to take (reduced juice).

I also lost the USC 2H and paid heavy juice, which leads me to my theory.

Halftime is intense. It's fast and furious, and most of the betting public goes on gut reaction to what they see first half. For these night games, we are talking about a largely intoxicated lot of people that are chasing a tough day. They have a small window of opportunity to make a play, so there is no way that they can accurately cap. I want to see what happens by waiting until the juice moves and taking the reduced side. Maybe waiting until it hits a certain number (+100, -105??? who knows).

I think that it's the ultimate way to fade the public.

It might only work for night games, or just NFL games. It might not work at all. Who knows? Anyways, I am going to track halftime juice, and fade the public. I will post updates as we go, but I am going to start this tonite.

miami FL -7.5 @ North Carolina??

and also, Kansas State -3 at home versus Kansas looks good. Mangino is HORRIBLE on the road and this will be Kansas' first road game. ALSO check this out

KANS are 16-35 ATS in their last 51 road games.
KANS are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 meetings.
Favorite is 11-1 ATS in their last 12 meetings.
KANST are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 home games.

but i have been impressed by the kansas squad this year. i will wait a lil on this one.

UCLA are 7-22-1 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.

    Who have the Patriots beat?

    NY Jets. 1-3.
    SD Bolts. 1-3.
    Buffalo Bills. 1-3.

7.5 is a ton of points on the road on MNF. Be smart about your gambling tonite, everyone.

I did a seven point teaser ATS

NE -.5 and over 46.5, although I did put more money on this game than I'm used to spending.

I'm prolly going to hit the Cinci ML, lightly, cause I'm sure it will pay well if it hits. :icon_toast:

    Good luck.

Everything points to New England winning big, but Cincy is a good offensive team that is backed into a corner on National TV as a HUGE home dog.

Plus, let's face it, it's the frucking NFL. None of us know what the hell is going to happen from week to week anyhow.

Bengals can beat the Patriots and I am serious. I am going to keep my eye on that ML. Cinci's pass happy offense forces teams into LONG games and if trailing they always stick around.

I just put 100 down on the Bengals to win outright. I like their offense against New Englands Secondary, and I think they win the shootout at home.

Not a bad bet considering that Marvin Lewis is 4-0 on MNF like EC said.

I like the thinking alot, and I am tempted as hell to follow you down this road.

+300 is a serious payout, and I think it could be insured with the +7.5.

Is New England really 7.5 points better than the #3 offense in the NFL in prime time at their house?

It's going to be a fun one...........
