Rivers is going to grow into a guy like Joe Kapp or Tobin Rote. Tough, wiley and with a dead aim. It may not be pretty, but it will sure be effective.
Which is exactly what other teams fans are ripping him for. For not being the prettiest passer or having the Marino like pocket presence. They make it sound like being a Bernie Kosar clone is such a horrible thing. But when you consider that, ok we have a Kosar like clone, what do they have?? The Raiturds have a QB that's so fat he has his own moon orbiting him. The Donkies have a guy who hasn't won since HS. The Chiefs have Brodie Croyle, that alone guarantees them the no. 1 overall pick in next years draft. Suddenly that Kosar looking guy is lookin' pretty good! Stan :rivers17:
