I totally agree Ant. While I loved some of his music and respected his awesome talent....he just always seemed to be a tortured, sad, and weird soul. Maybe now he will be at peace.
It appears that Jackson's doctor and a team of medical personnel tried to recussitate him in his home and for an hour at the ER... It seems that he should have had the best chances for survival but it was just not meant to be. http://omg.yahoo.com/news/michael-jackson-dies-in-la-hospital/24346?nc
I hope so. Whatever his personal issues and demons were, he was one hell of a musician and I'm sorry it all ended like this.
So he must have been in REALLY bad shape when the paramedics got there. I am thinking he was either near death or already dead when they arrived. Sad......
He had a world of talent; i can't think of another person who was just born to sing. And it all blew up. I guess genius and madness in whatever form are on the different sides of the same coin.
I didn't like that either and his body looked so small and frail even covered up...the last picture of him with the paramedics is also disturbing...but things like that tend to bother me...the video of poor Neda too. Lots of very public, high profile deaths lately. Makes you appreciate life.
I've heard two very conflicting stories. One that MJ was preparing for his 7/13/09 London concerts and another that dancers weren't even hired yet and it was doubtful that the concerts were actually going to take place. Sounds like he was in a bad way these lasts few months. Carrie thinks he was preparing in some way or another for the concerts or he would have cancelled them... However, given his 50 year old body which wasn't used to that kind of dancing (in the last 10 years or so) he prolly stepped up the use of his pain killers....Whatever else he used proved to be the lethal combo.
I'm remembering a cute story MJ related story with my niece Jenny when she was 2. This was in 1984 Her family lived in an area that was about 94% white and the only black person she seemed to know was Michael Jackson (from MTV). My sister and I were shopping at a Ralphs store (with Jenny) when two black women entered the store. Right on que, Jenny screamed with glee.... "Michael Jacksons!!!" and started dancing in the cart.    I don't think the ladies heard this (thank God) but other shoppers did and you could tell they were holding in from busting out laughing. Out of the mouths of babes... I tell ya. I need to call her and see if she remembers us telling her about that... :icon_banana:
Also, a tour of that magnitude would have to require that the central performer be insured. One thing that I've heard is that MJ underwent a 4 hour physical, a requirement by the insurance company. If he routinely took painkillers, he would NOT pass the physical, right? :icon_shrug:
I guess it would depend on what he disclosed and what his drug screen revealed. Not sure about that one. However, I did read, in more than one article, that he "passed" this physical....
I heard that too and was :icon_huh:. But, I guess it goes back to what he disclosed before he took the physical.
It just though of something... http://www.bolttalk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=18384&page=24 Look at post #233 and the date. :icon_eek:
Cause of death for Jackson has been deferred... Toxicology testing has been ordered which will not be completed for 4-6 weeks. There was no confirmation of the presence or absence of cardiac disease He was prolly abusing opiates and anti anxiety meds.. which slowed the heart rate, slowed the respirations and lowered the blood pressure, which ultimately led to his death.... Prolly very much like Ledger and Anna Nicole Smith. Reportedly the doc gave him a "dose" an hour before his death... If true, might explain why the doc went "missing"
That's so funny, my four year old just stopped calling all black people L.T. Now he just calls everyone in a Chargers uni L.T
Sorry for the bad joke, here. Does that mean he's kicking off or receiving in the 2nd. half? :broncfan:
His whole life was a spectacle, so I guess i shouldn't be surprised his death ends up as one too. Figures. Look I'm sorry he died young and I'm sorry he wasted in a sense so much talent because he went off of it but I'm already sick and tired of all the news surrounding his death
:icon_eek: There is a thread for MJ jokes in the adult section. I think he'd "receive" if he was still with us. :icon_tease:
It is just sick that the family is already starting to contest the will, and fighting over his holdings...
http://www.novinite.com/view_news.php?id=105204 This kids family got $22 Million from MJ to settle the case. (BTW, the site containing this article appears to be down, ATM.)
Hey, did you guys like Joe Jackson pimping his new record label when being interviewed about his son's death? Dispicable. No wonder Mike's head was so fubared.
My family has/will put in their wills that anyone who contests it is disinherited, period... so I've been told. OMG, this post just made me remember horrible dreams I had last night about my father dying... It was so real and sooo sad. I was heartbroken.
