:lama :lama :lama :lama :lama :lama :lama :lama TV ratings are going to be off the charts and I am genuinely excited about a final series for the first time since the MJ days
Boston has sucked on the road all playoffs. David Stern wants a game 7. LA is going to get the superstar calls the next two games. Did you see those frivolous calls on Kobe? They will go the other way the next two games.
The Lakers are playing swiss cheese defense, and are not aggressive enough taking the ball to the hole. Plus they are getting out rebounded and out hustled. They need all 3 at home or this series is over.
Yeah, that was a big disparity, but they kept of settling for jump shots instead of attacking the middle. I'm sure they'll get the calls at Staples, but they need to shore up their defense. They're making the Celtics look like the showtime Lakers of old.
This series is gonna go 7, the league is gonna make sure of it, and they'll call it right down the middle for game 7 and try to fake as much drama as possible. Lakers - 10 free thorws Leon Powe - 13 Fukin JOKE.
I agree with this. The Lakers are down 2-0 not because of the refereeing (though I agree it has been pretty bad) they are down 2-0 because Boston has played better defense, rebounded better, and most of all - they have attacked on offense instead of playing passive like the Lakers. The Lakers did not steal a game on the road like they absolutely had to and I have a hard time seeing them winning the series now. The home court will help and they'll probably get more calls than they have been, but frankly, Boston just looks like they want it more than the Lakers do.
Hell yeah!!! <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/RA2WhVhn4_s&hl=en"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/RA2WhVhn4_s&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Hopefully Youtube lets this stay on here.
Those calls were mind-numbingly bad. It hurt Mark Jackson and Jeff Van Gundy to see such vagina, charmin-soft fouls being called. I mean, two superstar players playing tough, hard-nosed defense on each other, which rarely happens anymore, and they call a little Kobe clear-out offensive foul? They were mutually playing physical against each other, which is a good thing, good on Ray-Ray Jesus Shuttlesworth to do something other than shoot a three, but they only call them on Kobe Bean? Weak. Everything was a damn foul on the Lakers in that first half. I doubt this continues in L.A. The 4th quarter comeback was a good sign, make sure them bastards can't hand feed Bean-Town a championship. Gasol was looking more aggressive, Ariza is another athletic G/F to help guard Pierce or Allen, Odom needs to step up a little more but is tryin, and Kobe is gonna play mad. Put me down for a 2-2 for game 5, in LA.
Ok here's my theory... David Stern got scared because of the Donaghy allegations and told the refs to call it clean
