I do not know if you can change the name of the chat room because to me I thought it was a link to the Podcast and is considered live every Thursday night. Can it be changed to the Title of Live Chat or something saying Chat instead of Show? Thank you so much for your time.
Maybe create a different section just for chat? I mean the URL should be specific to the content of the page so really it should be /en/live-podcast/ and maybe we can have another one /en/chat/ with just a chat window on there.
The URL works the way it should and I understand what you are saying but to me the name is confusing that it is a chat room. It also seems to me that it is only for the Podcast Show instead of a daily Chat the way it is named. The name of Live Show is to me confusing as it is to direct me to use it as a Chat Page/Room. If the name were Live Chat it would be to me less confusing. I apologize for nit picking.
Rob, will folks have to register on the site to chat? That's the main reason for using mibbit since there are some fans that don't want to register on any site.
Yes, the users would have to register. I can see this being annoying for a few people. Really it is going to be up to you and Loren since that page is mainly for you. Pros: No Ads Better Moderation Cons: Have to Register Let me know how you want to proceed and I will make it happen.
Just to clarify, users can WATCH chat but just not participate until they register. I will be watching the reaction to the chat program just in case we need to switch back, but I am think it should go smoothly.
