The raiders were talking too haggins as well ive seen reprorts of it. I think if hes available when we get a second rounder for moss haggins will be the guy.
please.......watch the film guy, eli doesnt suck,b-roth does not suck. Alex smith looked pretty good this season. Harrington has improved but i still dont like him much. Russel and quinn are rare qbs. Both have a ton of upside and will be stars bank it.
And here we have living proof of how losing can lower a person's standards. I remember when Jay Shroeder looked like a pretty decent QB to me. Of course, that was during the time when the Chargers were enlisting the services of has-beens, cast-offs, never-weres, and never-will-be's. Yes, Eli has sucked. For all the fanfare he has gotton, he has tanked! Ben Doesnt suck but he ahd a horrendous year and while he has been solid at times, he hasnt been spectacular. Harrington is just going to be a good backup...and for a #3 overall pick, thats a bust. I have always said i like Russell but i also think he is overrated right now and he and Quinn both arent close to Rivers when he came out.
Okay then if you watched that much film you should no by now that quinn and russel will be stars. Russel has alot of talent and a great deep ball. Russel is very accurate and knows how to read defeses. The only knocks on him is that instead of a check down he always want to go deep, not sure about his leadership and awareness on the field. Quinn, Hes pretty much got it all. Good feet, leadership on the field, good decsion making, stong arm, very accurate, reads defeses well, makes others better around him, great pocket awareness, studys to a T and is a quick thinker. The things ive seen about him that i dont like is that he talks **** to the other team alot and he tries to make too much happen at times. I think both will be great qbs and yes i think they both look better then rivers coming out of college.
Then clearly you never saw Rivers play. Ive seen all three and although i think they are good players, they dont come close to Rivers and what he did in college.
i saw him at NC and he i dont think he was better then russel or quinn coming out of college and the only reason you say that is becuse they could be potential raiders and you want to reasure yourself that any QB the raiders take will suck/
just based on his fire and leadership Rivers was above both Quinn and Russel and during the big games Rivers often was at his finest so he has that over Quinn. Only thing I think Russell has is a cannon and more mobility
No, thats not it at all. I dont think the Raiders will even pick one of those QB's so why would i care? Rivers had a great college career and is the 2nd best collegiate passer in history. He is the ONLY QB from the SEC that had 4 consecutive 3,000 yards seasons or better. He had 95 TD's and only 34 INT's. He lit up teams that were powerhouses even if his team didnt win. He didnt play at LSU or Notre Dame which have been huge programs for years.....he played at NC st and is the reason they were even in bowl games when he was there because they werent before he got there. You are HIGH if you think he wasnt much better than Quinn and Russell coming out. Maybe thats why he is a probowler already and Eli and Ben arent.....who also were better than both Quinn and Russell in college.
