http://www.fancostexperience.com/pages/fcx/blog_pdfs/entry0000018_pdf000.pdf The Fan Cost Index™ comprises the prices of four (4) average-price tickets, two (2) small draft beers, four (4) small soft drinks, four (4) regular-size hot dogs, parking for one (1) car, two (2) game programs and two (2) least-expensive, adult-size adjustable caps. Costs were determined by telephone calls with representatives of the teams, venues and concessionaires. Identical questions were asked in all interviews. Superscript numbers snext to Beer and Soft Drink prices denote smallest available size in ounces. Average ticket price represents a weighted average of season ticket prices for general seating categories, determined by factoring the tickets in each price range as a percentage of the total number of seats in each ballpark. Premium seating (tickets that come with at least one added amenity) are not included in the ticket average. In order to calculate an accurate “percentage change,” we used the new formula for last season’s prices for all general seating categories. Luxury suites are also excluded from the survey. Season-ticket pricing is used for any team that offers some or all tickets at lower prices for customers who buy season tickets.
How many of those teams have PSL's and that cost is not covered on that chart. My guess then the Chargers would drop down
Baltimore Ravens PSL[1] Carolina Panthers PSL Chicago Bears PSL Cincinnati Bengals COA (Charter Ownership Agreements) Cleveland Browns PSL Dallas Cowboys SL (Seat Licenses) (Effective at Cowboys Stadium only.) New York Giants PSL (Effective in the New Meadowlands Stadium only. Buying Giants PSL does NOT give ticket rights for Jets.) New York Jets PSL (Effective in the New Meadowlands Stadium only. Policies differ from the Giants. Buying Jets PSL does NOT give ticket rights for Giants.) Houston Texans PSL Philadelphia Eagles SBL (Stadium Builder Licenses) Pittsburgh Steelers SL San Francisco 49ers SBL (Stadium Builder Licenses) Seattle Seahawks CSL (Charter Seat Licenses) St. Louis Rams PSL Tennessee Titans PSL Amazing how 5 of the 6 in front of us have PSL's and 10 of the 26 behind us do as well. PSL's are extra cost (Especially in places like Dallas) but they also work as an investment as they can be sold for profit at a later basis (Like playing the stock market really, will this team be good and popular in 10 years...). I would think that should skew these ratings as well but they are also getting more value for their money.
Oh yah, and the most expensive beer in the NFL, and dont say the Bills are $9 too, cause they are $9 for 20oz not 16oz. Is our beer made from the tears of virgins? Cause it sure tastes like the crap I buy at the market.
That is a one time fee, so it would be difficult to place a cost on it since the longer you have your tickets, the cheaper the PSL fee is on a per season basis, which is what this shows
