You'd be surprised how many Sabres fans still believe the Golden Brett did not score that game winning goal several years ago. They still drive around with those idiotic "No Goal!" bumper stickers displayed. :icon_cry: Talk about a way to cause instant depreciation to a car other than the Sabres flags on the windows. :no: Yeah, a :billsturn: fan. Unlike the drunkards and some other lowlifes some of the Bolt fans had to endure at The Ralph back in November, I am much more respectful to visiting fans ... even on message boards. Besides, the Bolts have been around for a while, like the Chiefs, and have a very good fanbase.
I have a nephew who is a die hard bills fan.....and yes, I still hear about the NO goal all the time......maybe they(sabres) will get theirs this year..they are playing great, although they could be playing too great, and have nothing left for the run for the cup when it comes time....:icon_shrug: :lol:
Was a diehard Blackhawks fan as a kid... Still like them a bit but my son and ex are diehard Avs fans. I like the Avs, Hawks and Kings. My son hates the Stars, Redwings, Ducks... :lol:
I'd cheer for Chicago before I would the avs, ducks or wings....lol..but only because we are such rivals...I love living so close to my stars, they have many more games to go to then football, and my chiefs are so far away..so we get to see lots of hockey games...let me know if you ever come to dallas..
I used to work for a Dallas company... Still have many friends in the Dallas area... Carrollton, Irvine, Arlington, Plano... etc.. (even Scurry :lol: ) Don't get to Dallas much anymore... but like the area and the people alot.
MTL The AVs used the be the Quebec Nordics... I've hated the Canadians since those cheaters beat the Hawks in the Stanley Cup back in 71... (I was a very young fan back then, in case you are wondering)
Go Sharks. One of my best friends and business partner is a huge hockey nut. Sharks games are a blast and that place gets loud. There's only one way to see hockey and that's live. :yes:
I half heartedly cheer for teh Ducks and Rangers to be honest hockey's just not a big sport in southern california unless your in LA and even then that team's pretty far behind the Lakers and Dodgers
someone must like it......and did anybody but me watch the All Star game last night, so many awesome hockey players in the same place at the same time......

Jim Rome talked about the all star game. Basically he said that hockey is a greta sport. I agree. He also said that it's sad that this great sport has there all star game mid week on a relatively unknown cable channel. I agree also. Hockey still hasn't recovered from the strike year. I do love the game though. Used to play years ago.
I don't know about the dying part of it, the arena is just as packed now as before, I buy just as many stars related items as I did before....but I hear what you are saying...so, did you watch the game, it was great, with the west scoring 12 and the east 9...:lol:
I just saw the hilights. I think they are still filling the stadiums in many markets, but I don't think the television viewers have all come back yet. I think they will with time though. Hockey is a great sport.
anyone but me watching hockey....my stars have won the last 4 out of 6 games and tuesday night gave those mean ole sharks a hell of a time, and won......(see picture) and they get to do it all again tonight....
