Did you see that second period? MTL's attendance streak continues The crowd was INSANE tonight after being down 2-0 I thought it was over then 5 goals in like 12 minutes everyone went nuts, chanted out players names, booed Jagr every time he touched the puck... 98 consecutive sell-outs for the Habs. It was just crazy.
awesome.....I was busy watching my stars shut out the coyotes 6-o... we are streaking into the playoffs, and mikey is on a roll, he has10 goals in 9 games.......
(Look at the girl's face in the background... LOL, is that you? Just kidding ) That's all that needs to be said about the man we call 'Mickey-Ribs'. He'll put up 50-60 points in a season but that guy is HORRIBLE in the corners and makes an entire team feel 'soft'. Initially because of his outstanding effort he got away with keeping puck possession in the corners but then he got lazy and would just get hammered and give away the puck all the time. We have replaced him with a hometown kid (Ribeiro was also from Mtl) called Maxim Lapierre who looks very promising. He is like Ribeiro with not as good of a shot but has great playmaking upside because of his skating and stickhandling and he's extremely physical and a great two-way player. Other than little douchebag I don't mind the Stars. There are teams I hate so if I don't mind your team consider it a compliment :icon_toast:
conference leading wings my a&&....a picture of the winning goal tonight.....move over detroit, we are coming for ya..
You talking about the Canadians? I hate that team. Ever since they knocked my team out of their only appearance in the championship series. curved stick?
a real hockey fan's answer would be.....my team is gonna win it all.....lord stanley here we come...
playoff hockey is here..and it's been great so far, this might be my new favorite picture, just look, he knows he's gonna fall...
Stars fight fatigue, Canucks battle injuries after four OT opener< AP, Apr 12, 2007 The Dallas Stars know better than most how hard it can be to overcome a long overtime loss. The Stars' five-overtime loss to Anaheim in 2003 was one of five games in NHL history that went longer than Wednesday night's 5-4 defeat to the Vancouver Canucks, which actually ended early Thursday morning local time after 78:06 of overtime. .. it was a great game, and all I can say is my boys just got tired...but played a great 8 periods...
it was an awesome hockey night last night, my stars took game 2 IN vancouver.....yep, they hate us..... and did eveybody here about Radulov of the preds..... San Jose Sharks right wing Steve Bernier (29) lays on the ice in the second period after he was knocked out by the Nashville Predators right wing Alexander Radulov (47) knocking Bernier out of the game and starting a fight with the rest of the players. Radulov was penzlized with a five-minute major for checking from behind and was given a game misconduct in a NHL hockey playoff game in Nashville, Tenn., Friday, April 13, 2007.
I guess you were right about this one..... my stars HAVE to win tonight....so far it's 0-0 after the 1st...
we played awseome tonight.....they even looked like my stars...and we won........2-0, there will be a game 7.... and look, they can't fight us on the ice, they have to do it from the bench..... :icon_tease:
I was at the game last night. The Stars played awesome. One game to go and then on to Round 2! :icon_toast: The reason for your picture is: The win, though, was tainted after captain Brenden Morrow limped off the ice late in the third period when he was viciously slashed in the back of his left leg by Vancouver forward Alex Burrows in the Canucks end. The gritty Morrow was unable to put any weight on the leg, but before hopping off the ice he went after Burrows, who was sitting on the Vancouver bench. Morrow was given a 10-minute misconduct, as was Vancouver forward Jeff Cowan, who joined the scuffle. The bad-blood spilled over after the final horn sounded, as Steve Ott and Burrows got involved in some more pushing and shoving. http://www.dallasstars.com/gameday/previous.jsp?id=9281 I haven't yet heard if the injury is serious or not, but it was a cheap shot. Dirty cheating Canucks!
