Michael 'The Burner' Turner and how about Darren Sproles playing for a true play caller!

I don't think "pissed off old Chargers fan" really falls in either category Jack.

Are Norv and AJ still around? Why? :whistling::sleep:

    Fixed it for ya!

    UTKevinAcee@UTKevinAcee
    RT @UTgehlken: Jared Gaither has missed 9 of 13 games in '12, incl preseason -- 5 of 9 in regular.> At this point, he's made $2.25 mil/game.

    Scott Bair@dscottbair
Norv said on pregame show that D. Alexander starts over Meachem.

Well, those 2, have certainly played well for their respective teams PUMP, no doubt, but they don't really come under the banner of the type of player we were discussing in this instance.......

The 2 above and Brees were more about opportunity and money, moreso than whether or not they could still play the game.

Although, I must say, Mighty Mouse, given the right situation has certainly shown he can still be a player of tremendous value when utilised correctly as you stated. But I think we all pretty much agreed at the time, that he wasn't worth the price he was asking to stay in San Diego and play in the system that is Norf's ........ He just wasn't a factor and for all money looked disinterested, which in hindsight you'd have to say now,is all on Turners play calling.

Turner we all agreed could play, that was never in question and I'm not about a to flip-flop on the call made there..........said it at the time and still say it today, if the FO had elected to keep Burner and get rid of LT, San Diego would already be in LA in all likelihood today, Spanos would have 24 hr protection and never be seen in public if he'd have traded off LT at that time........even though I was saying at the time that LT looked insecure and NOT the player he was, it would still have been wrong for the FO to have traded LT away back then.

Well, didnt see that coming !!!!

Nice job by Alexander, that TD is 100% all his on sheer effort alone.

Cant ask for a better start than that, now lets see if they can capitalise on some good fortune for the next 59 minutes.

TB's response was just too easy IMO. Of course asking Spikes to work in coverage is a bit insane at this point too...

Hmmmm, they made that look all to easy ......................."D" needs to show far more than that series if they expect to stay in this game beyond the half............. just wayyyyyyyyyy to easy to move the ball on.

OK Pag's ( or is it Norf ?????).................time to throw caution to the wind Dude, that conservative shite isnt fooling anyone and hasn't for about 5 years now.

Nice series there, thats much more like the Offense we had grown used to seeing under Rivers and Co.

Now, can the "D" come to the party and make a stop ???

Doing OK Conc and the same right back atcha.

PR is fine as long as he can step into his passes - but talk about pressure... Only real success running has been when Vasquez pulls - odd....
