I'm yet to see it .....................sounds like a Doozy though, gotta be similar to that one thrown to Jammer by Peyton Place in the Donks game.
I think it's time we put this Ol' cliche to bed and face the facts............... This team doesn't have many wins in them in its current state.
Its been the call on Charger Forums for years now, what reason would anyone who supports this team have to think it could finally happen in '13 ???? Lets NOT be silly now, expect that to occur when we get a guy playing QB that CAN'T play a lick, that would seem a very logical Charger move. I can see Deaner trading next years picks for Tebow shortly if things keep going the way they are.
Now c'mon Dave, you're as qualified as anyone else (if not more because your an Old prick) to pass comment ..............dont be going all-Ostrich on us now.
NOPE, NORF is here for the long haul ........................you really do need to visit more often and you'd know this shite already.
Alabama. But they don't have a team, so how about Jacksonville? Funny thing is he wouldn't make them any better.
OK, but you aren't going to like it - Blue is right IMHO. Think about it. PR is still fine when he is able to step into a pocket/pass and throw with, (what is for him fugly), his normal mechanics. When he is falling backwards, (about to take yet another hit), throwing off of his back foot, he very likely throws it to the other team. Same thing occurs when a guy who gave this team his knee tries to roll right to escape the rush and loses his mind because fear is finally in control of his blood flow instead of his brain. I've read people trying to blame Clary again - what I SAW was simple. Their DC just flooded the weak spot in the O-line, (the left side last night), and either put Rivers on his heels or flushed him - sooner or later they knew the turnovers would come. The easy way to beat the Chargers is out and has been this year and last. Both of those instances involve pass protection - and in my opinion his coach isn't doing what is necessary to give it to him - particularly in the 4th quarter whether the team is ahead or behind. (Again MY opinion for what it is worth). That failure to protect your franchise QB, the one with the near-crippled knee, starts with the Owner - moves to the GM and his minions, and finally rests on the HC/OC - (a combination I hope NEVER to see on the Bolts coaching staff again when Norv is finally gone). We simply don't have the horses to consistently protect the passer - and if we had them, this coach still wouldn't protect him.
We should be in fine form for the Donkeys...... Michael Gehlken @UTgehlken #Chargers injuries from game: Aubrayo Franklin (knee), Melvin Ingram (knee), Mike Scifres (ankle), Eddie Royal (hand), Tyronne Green (rib).
Agree, he wouldn't playing the way he is at the moment. Fillup has one bad Mudderfarger case of the YIP's as we speak ...... Might be time to pull out the long handle putter I think.
Chargers RReports @CBSChargers #Chargers Turner: “There are 8-10 plays that fundamentally change a season” Philosophy of a man who'll never win it all.
Sounds like everyone agrees. Rivers is fine with a good OL in front of him, but crumbles under pressure. What's concerning is that there's always going to be pressure against the teams you meet in the late rounds of the playoffs.
If you extrapolate, this is what he will say before he gets fired at the season's end: "“There were 16-20 plays that fundamentally changed the Season [Sic: and cost me my cushy undeserved job]”
His Wife is fugly for my taste. Plus Blitzy is a Trout and believes in "love" through "donations". Blitzy does not tune to the same wavelength as Good Ol' Christians. Blitzy is a sinner
I've noticed that Fillup (Thanks JGF) while on the run and throwing in haste planting on his right foot, leads to under thrown balls and almost a pick 6 if DC's emphasize on a DB placing himself in the trajectory of the ball. This is a very high percentage defensive play now against the Chargers and the secondary need not fear a one-on-one match up with a Chargers receiver. Fillup's right knee seems to be completely shot and this is a fact that we will just have to live with till he is our QB. He does not have a noodle arm (never had a the strongest arm either), but he does have an ugly delivery mechanic which does not bode well with his bad right knee/immobility/rising age/diminishing strength/etc... 2 mores years of Fillup and then we can read his epitaphs and sulk in the would have, could have & should have's
