Did I see that we had a chance right down until the final 2 plays from our own 13 and it ended on a Fillup fumble that was recovered by the Donks ??? ....... Did that OLine let him down again ??????? OH we'll, never mind, gave them a run for their money anyway, which I can't say in all honesty I was expecting.... Good job Norf, that close one should entitle you to another year at the helm in the Deaner's eyes no doubt. Lets see what's been ballyed around now shall we.

Jacko comes in a day late and a dollar short wanting to know what happened. It went just as Nostafrostus predicted it would. PR tossed another INT in the 4th quarter and ended the game getting sacked. End of story - at least for the 2012 playoff hopes. Now Gaither will get healthy and we will barely win at least 3 more games. Moi? I'm hoping to high heaven that we get to see a lot of play out of the young'uns as an investment for next season. Reyes looked pretty good today playing in place of Vaughn Martin for most of the game, (at least I think he did). Got in a couple of sacs and a couple of tackles. I would hope we see more of him against better competition than a journeyman OG as the rest of the year flows down the toi - er - progresses.
Now watching Byron "here's the windup and there's the pitch" Leftwich trying to lead the Stealers to the promised land against the Ravens. Don't think I'll be watching much more - the War Department is starting to get twitchy around the eyes and mumbling something about missing the News.
The defense gave their all, but against Peyton with no helpf from our offense, it was too tall a task. As Goff said...... the O-line has to show some pride at some point. Do you want to be continually embarrassed on national TV, or are you going to man up and do something? I think we have our answer. Norv isn't the answer for this team, but with this terrible O-line, who would be? Even with 3-step drops, Rivers was under pressure. They can't protect, and they can't run block. What else is there?
(Gotta admit, I did give the wife the remote and go back to on-line nosing around).. Acee noted something interesting - Dean left the field well before that final sack and went into the locker room to watch the finish. Gaithers won't get healthy mate, he's a big lug nut of a lad who's body is obviously not up to the week in week out physicality of the NFL, sort of reminds me of another that AJ spent the bank on who's name escapes me currently.... Bend over, take it deep up the poop chute (again) and move on, he's worthless. 2. Absolutely pay the kids like Reyes, though that must be killing Norf and his "rookies don't play" spiel. If "The Fisherman" is healthy, get his arse out there too and let's get some games under his belt, sitting on the sidelines isn't gonna get him ready for the brutality of Line of Scrimmage play in the NFL. Ofcourse, none of this will happen, it's Norfs World after all and we are just outside looking in.
Looks the type that may be prone to "go missing" on occasion, really can't say I've seen him put to many games together in a row, that gets me erect.

Funny you would say that Jack - or are you making predictions again? I like hell out of the thought of Luiget and Reyes on this team to shore up the D-line and (if we continue in a 3-4 next year) tie up enough protectors to let Super Melvin, Butler, and company do their attack dog act... Both players could be pretty dang good in a 4-3 too if that's what the next coaching staff wants. (Can you tell I am "moving on"?)
