A lot depends on the injury report - think Weddle may have a concussion... Butler and Bigby were our leading tacklers on D. We shall see eh?
Weddle has a concussion for sure. Watching his head bounce off of Rice's shoulder pad on a Great legal block, it was clear that he got more than just shook up. If you can find a replay the best angle is from the endzone camera. He really got a freak hit on that play.
The temptation to take a drive down to Wally world's sporting good section and get that new fishing license is getting stronger and stronger. I can listen to the game on ear buds over at lake Jennings and the other fishermen will excuse my grumbling under my breath. <sigh>

Only the trout bite has been off this winter - and that is what I like to go for. As far as the players stepping up to get a win, the way they fell by the wayside today - we may be looking at 75% second and third stringers by the Faider game - but I still think they will win that one at home. (We may have to suit up Chargeroo and Rexy to play O-Line though). Wonder if Ant can play a little Safety? Curtis? (Conc)? *Somebody* has to step up!
Couple of PP items I have to note - despite getting sacked 6 time, PR didn't toss an INT - and he was clean shaven for the post-game interview. The other was Pags kept his D working down to the wire, and it took another zebra robbery to give them field position to get past us. With a 2nd string safety and a CB filling in at safety - he had them trying their best - that counts for something to us Polly guyz. Let the flame begin, (I'll be down at Walmart).
Rivers did a good job protecting the ball. That's something to build on. The usual lack of halftime adjustments on both O and D can be thrown into the lake

didn't watch the game, expected the worst.. saw the half time scores.. got a little hope.. then had it all dashed by seeing the end result. just because the expected result is the end result, doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. please for the love of god will this team clean house and turn around next season?!
