Couldn't agree more with that assessment. Much ado about nothing on this one re refs. Rice beat 7 men, with some help from Boldin (does Weddle make that tackle anyway?). Chargers choke. Same as it ever was. End of story.
Ingram has been a huge disappointment. Really thought we'd see rookie impact out of that kid. Hopefully he pulls a Liuget and improves 300% over his first offseason. Barnes is fine out there imo on more downs than he gets. If we had a HC that developed more aggressive gameplans, we'd see a lot more of him.
Regarding Super Melvin, hopefully he will get more work as this (sorry) season progresses - while a 1st rounder, he IS a rook - but would like to see him in there more often getting reps/opportunities. Think he is still paying dues for that helmet to chin hit on Brees that cost 15 yards and more.. Rooks make mistakes and cost you - good rooks are worth it in the long run.
Someone call me a NURSE !!!!!!!!..... Call it as I see it Ringo, no Homer glasses here. I was thinking the exact same thing in regards to Weddle also....... Seems to me that it was gonna be nothing more than an arm tackle at best and I seriously doubt that would have slowed Rice enough to stop his progress anyway. But my word, that was some collision and would have hurt like a bitch, as he never had a chance to brace in any shape or form, those hurt more than any other type hit.
Yep, I was on board saying that this kid could be the missing ingredient....... Been very very ordinary to say the least, but hey, it's ONE year, so he has some time on his side yet.......some us some NASTY Mel.
Now there's an idea ........ He could suck the nail polish right off those tootsies of hers, while Sexy sits in the corner with his dunce on, spanking the monkey.
Well, lemme see here - Spurlock is back - Curtis Brinkly is waived again, and Troutman isn't on the fast-track after all - that about cover it for today? "The Chargers also announced that the practice period expired for both Brandyn Dombrowski and Johnnie Troutman and they will remain on Reserve/Non-Football Injury for the remainder of the year." Its a shame we would take such a CAP hit to get rid of a certain splinter drawing wideout. Thanks AJ. <spit>
Say whaaaaaaaa ..... ??? So in other words, all that talk about Trout was nothing but bullshit propaganda AGAIN !!!! You'd think that a franchise, struggling to maintain a waning fan base could at least be honest about the players with long term injuries and their chances of returning sometime during the season or not, my God, what are we playing here ? .......I had no idea a rookie who'd never played a single down of Pro football, was worthy of National Security-type secrecy. As each day passes this franchise loses me a little bit more, c'mon Spanos, cash it in ya bastard and move on.
I thought I seen Spurlock on another list somewhere ????.......Hmmmmm, interesting. Still have no problem with letting VJ walk, no one wil ever convince me he is worth 55 mill.......EVER. What I am having a problem with is what we replaced him with ........ Another Albotross around our necks, bleeding us dry and giving not a yelp on the field........bad bad pick from day 1.

Pretty far off topic but - this "Shadowland" presentation is danged impressive if you haven't seen it yet. You will like it better if you watch it on youtube and take it to large or full screen.
Dave, You'd be glad to know that you have no Blitzy competition when it comes to this one issue (although I do find Ms. Hendricks Haute!) I just prefer the ones who are half way to the hospital with a mild case of malnurition and seem to be able to live on, say a 1/2 apple a day
