Love this pic.......
Note for Blitzy.......
Acce and Gehlken said in their video roundtable segment that if the Chargers hadn't invested a 2nd round pick in Mouton, he'd already be gone.
Can't say that AJ doesn't have the Midas touch.
The coaching staff really knows how to make players accountable....
As the three Chargers converged on Rice at midfield, cornerback Antoine Cason stood about 20 yards upfield, at the sideline and near the first-down line.
Cason didn’t run toward Rice, who eventually came to him, first running across the field, then turning upfield and lurching forward to get the needed yardage.
Pagano was asked if Cason was caught spectating.
“Spectating?” he said. “I think more or less he thought that the guy was going to be down, and you don’t ever want to assume in this business.
“And it caught him more by surprise, instead of really just finishing the play.”
You sure you didn't mean to say, "Not for Blitzy"
BTW a crucial correction Blew!
The word "investment" and someone who was picked up in the 2nd round, while projected by most sane draftniks to go somewhere between the 5th and the 7th round, do not belong in the same sentence
I bet Jack-o is loving working double shifts!
Injury Report - Butler, Royal and Stuckey are OUT.
Unless its called "menage a trois" or something spelled kinda like that, I rather doubt old Jacko is "enjoying" it. Now, come PAYDAY that is an entirely different story!
I think it would be more appropriate to simply list when Royal is "IN".
How many guys have we had with the word "prone" associated with their fargin names? I like Royal when he is on the field, I like M-80 better - but up to now (knock on wood) he also is in that category. <sigh>
You mean he really *could* have gotten off his *** and ran over there to assist in the stop instead of waiting to see someone else make a play? Cason? Imagine that. <spit> (And that kid comes from a football family on top of it).
Now that dude would make a great head coach.
In the Norv Turner coaching tree.
'violence prone' would be a good one to associate with a CB.
just my .02
Jammer would fall into that category.
Frankly, Cason has the "heart" of Cro, but the skills of.................... well, Cason.
Bad influence, young age. So much for those 'good character' draft picks.
I hear that Hester is enjoying Denver.
The Chargers Curse is on the move
GUYS ....Im alive, seriously, I am ............... JUST !!!
Just heard about and looking at stories related to this Chiefs kid that has killed himself in front of Crennel and Pioli and others at Arrowhead..................shot his girlfriend/Baby-Momma earlier also.
Im just out of words anymore to even describe my thoughts in regards to the human race sometimes.
Just very very sad and confusing times we live in may be the best way to describe it and just move on .....
Back soon to catch up with whats NEWS ............
OK, gotta finish watching thsi SEC Championship games............. its a Ball-terror.
My Ugga's are giving the 'Bama all they can handle at the moment and may even be playing for the National title if this keeps up..........
Great game of College football for a change.
Guess we had this one correct Ringo, just seen that Boldin copped NO FINE and in this day and age when they fine bloke's for some of the softest hits possible, nice to see that contact is still apart of football.
Sorry PUMP........................I couldn't even get on my iPad the last 2 days, fargin dumbarse place is this Cotton On........
If they didnt have me picking up their useless arses, half the fargin' stores in Melbourne wouldnt even be open.
From stock being left behind by drivers, to stores running out of customer bags and every other service item imaginable, to some fargin' ******** wanker boss, NOT bothering to show up on Saturday morning at 6am to open the shed for 50 people to start work rolleyes and instead leaving them outside in the wind and rain and then wondering why half of them LEFT and went home to bed and he getting pissed off about it !!!! (wait till I put my 2c worth in tomorrow in regards to that fargin' lowlife to the big boss, hoping I can get his arse canned, that will be my Xmas present to myself)
Oh and by the way, STILL don't even know the result of the game yet !!!!
Just been on one of the Chiefs Fan Forums ..............
Seems that many Chief players are MOST concerned with the NFL saying "The game tomorrow WILL be go ahead and be played"................without ANY imput from the players themselves.
Some have been saying ............. "Its all about the money", questioning many to say....................does the NFL truly care at all ?
Seriously, some need to even ask themselves THAT question ????
Dont think its the last we'll hear about this and have no doubt that "Dodgy Rog" will have some brilliantly written statement to cover his arse again on this subject.............
What a finish to this College game .....excellent stuff !!!!
Strange ending though ..............
Why NOT spike the ball and set up a proper play ???
Why the hell did the kid "go to the ground" after catching it and NOT get out of bounds, stopping the clock for another play ?
Pressure !!!! ......... makes even the best at their jobs look mediocre sometimes.
I'll give you Atlanta
IMO...... The NFL should at least move the game to Monday night .. .. give his teammates a day ..........
He'll mate, it's a game that has NO playoff complications whatsoever, the NFL and the chiefs organization need to put things into perspective here and play the game "whenever", just NOT Tomorrow.....
How the farg are his teammates supposed to compose themselves in such a short time and play a game of football ?
Ridiculous to even contemplate, give them a grieving period at the very least, it is after all, only a game of football and there's a 2 month old child involved here, who now grows up without a parent, which I believe is the saddest and cruelest twist in all of this by a long margin.
Mate, ...... I am reading the players want to play the game... That is why I say Monday Night....
Separate names with a comma.
