Just been on one of the Chiefs Fan Forums .............. Seems that many Chief players are MOST concerned with the NFL saying "The game tomorrow WILL be go ahead and be played"................without ANY imput from the players themselves. Some have been saying ............. "Its all about the money", questioning many to say....................does the NFL truly care at all ? Seriously, some need to even ask themselves THAT question ???? Dont think its the last we'll hear about this and have no doubt that "Dodgy Rog" will have some brilliantly written statement to cover his arse again on this subject............. Fargin' lowlife.
Strange ending though .............. Why NOT spike the ball and set up a proper play ??? Why the hell did the kid "go to the ground" after catching it and NOT get out of bounds, stopping the clock for another play ? Pressure !!!! ......... makes even the best at their jobs look mediocre sometimes.
IMO...... The NFL should at least move the game to Monday night .. .. give his teammates a day ..........
He'll mate, it's a game that has NO playoff complications whatsoever, the NFL and the chiefs organization need to put things into perspective here and play the game "whenever", just NOT Tomorrow..... How the farg are his teammates supposed to compose themselves in such a short time and play a game of football ? Ridiculous to even contemplate, give them a grieving period at the very least, it is after all, only a game of football and there's a 2 month old child involved here, who now grows up without a parent, which I believe is the saddest and cruelest twist in all of this by a long margin.
