Still say there's enough fan support in Colorado for 2 teams. No blackouts here, even when Mcdumbarse was running it into the ground. (Wish they hadn't fired that bastage...)
Who said I was that high on Jimmy Raye?......... I'm just telling you who the nest GM will be (according to unnamed sources). Face it, little John John ain't going anywhere, and Deano needs a GM who'll be OK with his son as his righthand man.
Oh great! We will never a quality HC who will put up with that kind of paradigm in the FO Calling San Antonio. Oh never mind, the Mayor there a Democrat who is of Mexican heritage (Castro?) He will never give the Deaner what the Deaner would like to have to "bolt" outta 'Diego
Well, Tutu & Molk > IR today http://www.chargers.com/team/transactions.html But there's no need to fear, Shilling and Baxter are baaaaaaaack.... Run Philip, RUN! (Oh, you can't? - get up Philip, GET UP!)
From .com I'm assuming Brown will return to the lineup against the Steelers? Damn I love ***-u-me-ing. Since when is "a s s" a filtered word? - Weird.
UTKevinAcee @UTKevinAcee RT @Dboltfan: So Schilling, Hadnot, Hardwick, Vasquez, Haslam Sunday? >Still believe Kevin Hughes will be signed from practice squad. Ouch! Time to play Whitehurst?
Michael Gehlken @UTgehlken Since Nov. 1, Danario Alexander has 26 catches. Robert Meachem has 23 snaps. http://utsd.us/WIf6FP
I agree with all of the above Blue - Charlie Clipboard still has both knees and can scramble a little, that - and I don't want to see our starting QB on that ever-growing IR list. <sigh>
Barnes to IR and Wells is back... The same one that warmed about 1/3rd of our bench throughout September until being waived to sign Nick Novak... 10 year journeyman - backup at OT/OG that may actually be pressed into service this time around. <sigh> ~~~ Marty Caswell expressed it appropriately: Marty Caswell @MartyCaswell #Chargers place Antwan Barnes on reserve injured list and sign G/T Reggie Wells. Again. Geez louise.
If you thought our pass rush was anemic before...... look out! Shouldn't Wells get some kind of special recognition from the league?
Fixed it for ya Blue.. But yeah, we could use some more pass rush still too... I wonder if the Squealers have a bugle player practising Taps yet? Meanwhile, I would imagine a couple of relatively unknown members of the Chargers coaching staff continue to watch their personal stock fall: Jeff Hurd Strength and Conditioning Vernon Stephens Asst. Strength and Conditioning The rash of hamstring injuries must have an answer - also, why is a certain doctor of Asian decent still associated with this team? Blow it up Deano - blow it up.
Yeah, the training staff has been a big question mark for some time. When this stuff happens year after year, it can't all be just bad luck....... can it?
Over the years, I have noted that losing teams with questionable character in the locker room seemed to experience a ton of "soft tissue injuries" at this time in the season. Assuming character isn't the issue, then we are back to the guys responsible for the strength and conditioning of the players.
We are going to need someone better than a certain "team doctor", of Asian decent, to do those particular exams.
Hmmm... I see we have moved into the #6 slot for the 2013 NFL draft. The Chargers have a decimated O-line - a huge number of replacement players that weren't good enough to stick for the final cut - our leading receiver didn't start the season with the team, the Steelers look to get Big Ben back against us instead of playing Charlie Batch, (who has got to be eligible for SSI by now), along with a couple other defensive studs looking to come back for this one - couple that with the fact that the Chargers have *NEVER* beaten them at their house during the regular season and ya just gotta figure we don't have a fargin PRAYER come Sunday... Now - watch what happens.
