Things are getting hot down here again .................. Well over 100 F. again yesterday and the bushfires have started all over the place again, had one just a few miles from where I live the other day, luckily it was heading the opposite direction thanks to a prevailing wind.

The phrase "that sucks a root" came immediately to mind. Took a look at the map - is the new desalination plant underneath the fire area? (Hope not).. Edited: Never mind, looked it up "Wonthaggi" desalination plant is a bit further South. For all of the h&d that thing has raised, having mother nature jump in would be just about all it would take.. <sigh> The only reason I was aware of it, (before you ask), is that the San Diego regional water authority agreed at the end of last Nov. to buy the output of a relatively modest (only 1 billion $) "yet to be built" desalination plant up in Carlsbad... Smelling a rat or three, that got me to looking into such plants.
Skyrim Vampires aren't cute....... for the most part. In fact, the most powerful ones are darn right ugly. The Cumberbatch miniseries was picked up by HBO over here...... I believe it will air next month. It's not a mystery though. It's another period drama.
I haven't played that..... my reflexes aren't up to too much button smashing these days. I prefer the slower open world exploration of the Elder Scrolls games.
