I am going Harbaugh Bowl
Morning X-Man good picks!
Makes sense. Too bad my laptop gets super hot all of the time every time I turn on Assassin's Creed.
I paid attention to the article which BB had posted a week or so ago about D not necessarily winning SBs anymore. However, I rate a team by the number of true tough and gritty guys they have on their D. With this in mind, the Niners and the Ravens are definitely more superior. Both the Pats and the Falcons are more of a finesse team as compared to the aforementioned. However, it's going to be too much of a speculation for me to call both games in favor of the away teams.
So with that said, I think that the Niners are too much of a load for the Falcons and will force the Falcons off their rhythm so to disrupt Matt Ryan and his receivers. I don't think that the Falcon RBs are going to carry the day for the Falcon O and I don't see the Falcon D to be able to stay strong against that Niners O for 4 quarters!
In the second game, I give the advantage to the Pats although this contradicts what I had said above. Obviously the X-Factor in that game is Brady playing at Home. If the Ravens come in all loose and relaxed with nothing to lose attitude, they can overcome, but logically I have to go with the Pats as I don't see the Ravens not to be too emotionally tightened up, considering the circumstances of how they got there from last week plus RayRay & a repeat of their loss to the Pats at this juncture last year
Nice tribute to Stan Musial, Jack........ didn't know you had it in you.
Chargers hire ex-Cardinals special teams coachPosted by Josh Alper on January 20, 2013, 11:01 AM ESTHead coach Mike McCoy’s first Chargers staff is showing a lot of similarity to this year’s Cardinals staff.Ken Whisenhunt will be the offensive coordinator, Frank Reich will be the quarterbacks coach and now comes word that Kevin Spencer will be in charge of the special teams in San Diego. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Spencer, who held the same role in Arizona since 2007, will be in charge of special teams in San Diego. The Chargers special teams need some work, as evidenced by the way they allowed three punts to be blocked during the 2012 season. Rich Bisaccia, who was hired to correct the special teams after similar breakdowns in 2010, left to take a job at Auburn before McCoy was hired.Spencer’s units in Arizona benefitted from Patrick Peterson returning punts the last couple of years, but he also had success before Peterson arrived on the team. Sean Morey made the Pro Bowl as a special teamer after the 2008 season and Spencer also enjoyed a lot of success in Pittsburgh, including a Super Bowl XL win over the Seahawks.Spencer’s departure leaves the Cardinals with only a couple of holdovers for Bruce Arians’ initial coaching staff in Arizona.
Morning all (is it morning still ?.........Yep, just !!!)
Ready to go, lets see some good games, just like last week will do fine.
I have a couple of (well) hidden talents that I call upon when needed.
Problem is BLEW, the occasion doesn't crop up that much anymore, fewer "greats" as each day passes it seems.
So, last go-round for RayRay ...................... maybe !!!
Be interesting to see how he approaches things early, well worth keeping an eye on.
Doubt we'll see RayRay take that route BLEW, as a leader he's well aware that his presence alone out on the field may well be more important than his actual game performance, especially as far as organizing his own teamates .......
Niners napping on Jones.
Really, Jack....... where has your sense of humor gone?
Well that sets the tone early enough, wont see to many better opening drives than that one...................perfection.
There's my boy Julio down by the schoolyard getting away again .......................kid is good one.
Oh I knew you were only joking BLEW ........................but Im in "serious gameday mode" at the moment, sorry, Ill try and lighten up here shortly.
I've been saying all week that there is NO WAY the 9ers would spot the Falcons a 20-0 lead in the first half - dayum - Falcs scored that 1st 7 entirely too easily.
Gonzales commanding close attention could open up Jones and White all day ...............
Amazing what you can do with a guy when he demands attention like Tony G , even when only used as a decoy.
Smarmy arse, cocky Jim Harbaugh elected to defer.
Another example of it doesn't matter what your defensive scheme is, if your players don't cover the right people. That was a player f'up, pure and simple.
Jimmy don't look so cocky right now.
Fat Teddy's doing security these days ????
Julio having a career day in ONE Q thus far, damn this kid has some good hands.
...and just that quick 10-0 Falcs. Gonzo is a "decoy" that can hurt you in an instant if you don't pay him proper attention.
Lets see if the Niners can score on this possession, could go along way to determining the outcome of this one ...............wouldn't want to get to far behind, regardless of what transpired last week, but if you let a team get its back up, quite amazing what a little confidence can do, especially with a hometown crowd in your ear.
Just like Gatesy Dave, I bet those guys give OC migraines trying to prepare gameplans.....fargin' nightmare I would imagine.
I think we'll see the Niners start "running the ball" here quite a bit shortly.
Sacked with a 4 man rush... Wow - just fargin wow!
Made the best O-line in football look like a bunch of losers in lightning bolts. Whew!
Was that ball "loose" before the refs blew the whistle ???
How's that possible ??......................we couldnt get one rushing 11 ????
Separate names with a comma.
