The new one with 128 Gig is coming out on Tues Feb 5th. Having paid 699 for my 64 Gig just in Dec and to sell it for about 70% of what I paid 45 days ago, to pony up to 799 for the new one is not too palatable, specially since I just dropped about 2100 on the refurb iMac. I really wanted the iPhone 5 because of the better camera as compared to my meager iPhone 4, but having read that Apple is going to be competing with the other manufacturers by way of offering products with larger storage capacity (which is what I think is more crucial instead of some of the extra bells & whistles) I may just wait it out for the iPhone 5S till this Summer.
Oh, I hear you..... the new iMac is expensive enough. It's not like you can't get by with 64GB for year. Just have to be wise about what you keep on the iPad. With phones, it's best to wait until you can upgrade for cheap. The carriers nickel and dime you to death as it is. That's why I still have a "dumb" phone. A Wi-Fi device is a lot cheaper to operate..... which is why I got an iPod Touch (5th generation), rather than a iPhone 5.
I also hear you. However, having a "smartphone" is actually a must in my business as a mere Wi-Fi device can not substitute the features and the convenience of the smartphone. In my case, the bastage Carriers and Cable Cos always seem to win Sniff . Sniff

It'll all come out somewhere down the line and ofcourse by then, no one will really give a rats tossbag about it and it will just be read, scrutinised on all the sports talk shows for a day or 2 and neatly forgotten and tucked away in the "who gives a farg anymore" category, so really, what does it really matter anyway ?
