Oh my Gawddddd, you were a real fan then ..........

Thats a collecters item I bet.

Reckon I may have had the odd "Thunderbirds" toy back in the 60's, but didnt need a lunchbox seeing as I lived about 20 yards away from the school I attended, always zipped home for lunch.

Broke the glass thermos the first week though....... hated those damn things.

Lunch boxes were big in the 70's. All the popular kids shows had one. You're right, if I still had half the stuff I had as a child, I could make a killing on Ebay.

    Tell me about it ......

As a kid I was an avid collector of magazines, periodicals, cards for football, basketball, cricket, golf etc.......... They were all kept in plastic sealed wraps and lived in a huge wooden trunk that doubled as my coffee table in the old bungalow out the back of my Old gIrls place up until I left in '88.......would hate to think how much some of that stuff would have been worth on EBay these days.

Unfortunately after I left for the States, Turdle moved in and God only knows what he did with that stuff ........ Probably sold them all off for a few bucks to feed his gambling habits no doubt.

I would die to get some of that memorability back, bit like my music collection from over there....... :(

So, your brother felt perfectly comfortable with selling off all your old childhood collectables, eh?

People have been killed in their sleep for less. ;)

    I guess so BLEW .......

Never really have discussed it with him I must say....

He was lucky by the time I returned, that he was about 6' 2" and outweighed me by about 50 Ibs ........ Not that that would have stopped me if I'd been the vindictive type though ..... ;)

Couple of points, although this is a very hot potato(e) issue to discuss on here. So let's see if I can remain tactful ')

1- The Steve Irwin death by a Stingray none the less, was on a category of its own. Steve could have been killed at anytime when he was messing around with Crocs, et al; but being barbed by a Stingray right in the heart is very rare and all too freaky.

2- Regarding Chris Kyle's murder (allegedly) by the gun of a so called "friend" or an acquaintance at a shooting range of all places refutes so many myths from the gun advocate crowd that is NOT going to be very hard for you and I (immigrant aliens from non-gun cultures) to wrap our heads around.

Chris Kyle was a decorated Navy Seal sniper with reportedly over 150 Iraqi insurgent kills, so very safe to assume that he was very adept and extremely proficient both with guns and shooting. Further, the murderer got away (debunking the theory of to stop a bad guy with a gun, you need a good guy with a gun) from the shooting range and was arrested by the police without any resistance at his home!

The one prominent commonality which I see is that both men were killed by these creature which both had some semblance of trust in and hence had their own guards down.

Sounds like the end is nigh for "The Greatest" !!!!!!

sad day ........ There'll never be another like him, one-of-kind in the true spirit of how the phrase was coined.

Without doubt one of the most polarising humanbeings of all time ......

Anyone with half a frontal lobe working Poofessoria, knows their is NO argument in the debate on Gun control my friend, simply comes down to a matter of logical thinking in the year 2013 you'd like to think.

But good luck getting that through to some of these mental giants, who simply plead the 2nd amendment as their only means of reason as to why things should remain the same.

The caveman logic is alive and well and there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it, like it or not.

How sad is it that it took an anonymous donor to send those Sandy Hook kids to the game? Surely, the NFL could've afforded it.

Can't ask for a better series than that to start a game .........

Man, how many times have we seen that exact play score over the years .......

Niners secondary getting "lit up" early and often .....Wittner has been slow to react on numerous occasions already.

WOW !!! ..........big play by the Ravers D !!!!

That could come back to haunt the Niner's ........

That Davis injury could be significant, he's on fire of late ....... they need him in to win this one I would think.
