Just having a quick squizz at the latest NFL news ......

Both Woodson and Freeney let go I see, be interesting to see what teams are willing to spend huge $$$$$s on longtime vets in '13, you know it will happen, but hey, if they can get 2 or 3 productive years out of them still, the money will be well spent in my opinion.

Woodson is 36, and Freeney was only effective in a 4-3 defense. There may be suitors, but I wonder if they can really get big money at this point.

Well BLEW, when the odds are good and all she had to do was run a place to win money, why not "go for it" and make the effort worth it I say !!! ;)

I don't gamble too often, so when I do, its usually with an "all or nothing approach" .............. biggest single bet I ever laid out was back in about 2008 when I had just got back in Australia.

There was a horse doing the circuit in Queensland and Sydney by the name of FROSTY ..................he was a little tiny thing as far as horses go, but all he ever did was WIN...............

I backed him a couple of times (just small bets) and he had won at decent each way odds and it astounded me how his odds, regards of his past form, never seemed to go down, in fact if anything, they actually increased.

Anyway, I reckon he'd won about 4 races in a row at smaller venues in and around Brisbane, when he was bought down to race at one of the bigger Sydney meetings and he was showing something like 20/1 odds.

I thought to myself, OK, well if your silly enough to offer me that, I'll gladly take the punt.

Had a $100 EW on him and he lead from Go to Whoa for a tidy return for memory of over $2500 !!!!

I seen him running somewhere in North Queensland last year, so who knows, he's probably still cleaning them up on a few Country tracks I bet, God Love Him. ;)

Never seen the Movie Lance, but yep, looks close enough for me.

I spent 25 minutes reading the comments at the bottom of the story and finally had to close the page, I almost split a gut laughing.

Another cricket question for you Jack.

Do they move the boundaries in closer for the Women's game?

Anyway... this stuff looks weird. This bowling is so slow that the batsman should have time to light a cigarette before the ball arrives.

Da’Quan Bowers arrested for carrying gun at airport
Posted by Michael David Smith on February 18, 2013, 5:29 PM EST
Buccaneers defensive end Da’Quan Bowers has been arrested for carrying a gun at an airport.
NBCNewYork.com reports that Bowers was arrested at LaGuardia Airport on Monday morning after police discovered he was illegally carrying a handgun. Bowers had a loaded .40 caliber firearm in his carry-on bag as he was attempting to get on a US Airways flight to Raleigh, North Carolina.
Bowers was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and is expected to appear in court on Monday evening.
A 2011 second-round draft pick of the Buccaneers, Bowers missed the first six games of the 2012 season with a torn Achilles tendon but returned in time to play in 10 games and record three sacks last season.

Is "Winning pole" the newest term for "getting some dick" ???????

Does the new boyfriend have a say in any of this ???;)

I bet he loves the fact his dork is now associated with where his girlfriend starts a race from.

Oh hell NO, not in the least, my problem with her has always been the exorberant publicity she has recieved for doing relatively nothing, other than being an attractive woman in a male-dominated sport, now if she can WIN in that sport, then more power to her and she'll be fully deserving of all the attention.

I'm just not a fan of people who dominate world news these days for being nothing but dumbarse, talentless amoeba's, that seem to possess the ability to brainwash people into watching them do absolutely nothing and be entertained by it.

I hope she can win the bastard, I'm good for a real, honest sports story for a change, based purely on a result.

I can honestly say SandyBob, I have NEVER watched a second of a Womens cricket match (seen highlights here and there) .........................guess that classify's me as sexist these days, doesn't it ???

Game can be slow enough when played by the Chaps, couldn't even imagine what would attract anyone to watch women playing it.

And NO, from what I have seen of the ladies (and I use the term rather loosely, there are a few that would have trouble passing a hormone test I do believe), it certainly wouldn't be for a perv, say like Womens beach volleyball.

My guess is that 80% would be lesbians, which come to think of it, probably means I should be watching it, now that I think about it.

I'm guessing you must have been watching the World Cup Final between the Aussies and the Windies !!!! .....I did see in the paper and hear on the radio that our girls won quite easily.

Now as far as your question goes .................

I have no idea mate, I would guess that the boundaries are in fact pulled in a little, seeing as its all about high scoring these days to try and attract a crowd.

Oh yeah, I have seen a little of the bowling ............................pedestrian to say the least. (Hell, those Windies Ladies probably were smoking a Doob under their helmets, especially the one's from Jamaica. ;))

Am I the only one who's pissed off that the country crooner plugged her dog before she shot herself? Did she ever consider the animal might've wanted to live it's life with another person instead?

The height of narcissim has to be these nitwits who have to take their loved ones with them when they commit suicide. **** them and the horse them rode in on.

OH NO .................................we certainly don't wanna see these "Pat-types" in thongs mate.

There is one fairly good looker in the Aussie team though.

But ofcourse she'd have to be of Indian heritage though ...... ;)

Lisa Sthalekar is her name ........ [IMG]
