Read this just before hitting the sack last night .................... Fair call by the new guys, I wouldn't have expected anything less to be honest and they SHOULD see for themselves what he is all about.

Doesn't mean I think he should be back in any way, shape or form, but they do need to do their due diligence on the big creampuff if they are doing their job correctly.

The first comment on the article is a good one........

The really sad thing about Gaither, is that if he had the drive to match his natural ability, he'd be the best LT in the NFL. I don't think that's an exaggeration. 6'9" with long arms and surprisingly fast, he'd be dominant if he had the desire to be great. It's such a waste.

Lance, it is entirely possible that someone has an ax to grind. However, about 12 years ago when I was in my high 30's and used to frequent clubs downtown, after my "newly found" freedom, I used to bump into a few ball players (NFL & MLB) Once while at On Broadway (at their newly opened VIP section) I witnessed an incident with Marshall Faulk. He was basically acting like an arse and was hitting on many random girls who were sitting with other fellows at their private booths. I remember that an argument ensued with some guys who started getting hostile toward Marshall's behavior, drinks were thrown and bouncers rushed in to protect him and ushered him away. Faulk was always spoken of very highly when he was both with Indy & the Rams, but he did have quite a "reputation" when he was at SDSU. I witnessed first hand that he was the instigator and was not taking rejection too well by some female patrons, who happened to be with other guys. Money and fame is all dandy et al, but when as a man who happens to be both famous and iconic, if he resorts to physically pulling onto females at a club, well, that is really WEAK GAME and indicated very low values. Females run away from that!

Now we all believe what we want to believe. I didn't write that piece about Ryno, I have never bumped into Ryno and I do not have an ax to grind against Ryno on a personal level. I have a 24 YO Son who happens to be Ryno's age and I do know about some 24 YOs being less mature than other 24 YO's ;) I would not even dare to compare Ryno to Faulk, as Marshall at least had a real "NFL game" to back up his "rumored" shenanigans :D

Jack and I tend to believe such "stories" about Ryno with more prejudice than you, based on his "evident" level of immaturity. Let us just say that Ryno as Pro RB is more fluff than substance, despite his enormous talent level and latent potential. For the sake of us Charger fans, let us just hope that the new regime can tap into this Guy's potential and rescue him from his foolish immature self!

Oh no doubt at all BLEW....... But unfortunately being born with natural ability and all the tools necessary doesn't guarantee a damn thing if the individual doesn't have the heart or desire, he might as well have be born a retard, with the mental capacity of a 5 year old.

Great height, great speed, long arms ....... He's been blessed .......... To bad the man upstairs forgot about giving the Big Softee a fargin' heart though

I had no doubt about it, not because of the seeming mishandling of the investigation, not because of his fame, congeniality, his disability and empathy factors, not because of his financial ability to hire a solid legal team, but merely based on your zealous pontification, as only you can do :roflmao:

Basketball has never been my sport. I'm too short for it, can't jump high enough, run fast enough or dribble in any nimble fashion. "They" can have it ;)

P.S. Unless you meant "cheerleading"? :roflmao:
