What the hell is "Cat Dander" exactly ????

Is it the feline equivalent of human dandruff maybe ????

Surely someone like "Johnson & Johnson" can come up with a "Head & Shoulders" like shampoo for the Pussies, can't they ???? :)

    I have a question ..................

Is it mandatory for Pro athletes to have "Agents" these days ????

Can they NOT represent themselves in other words.....

I ask this in relation to a story I was just reading about "The Black King" ................Elvis Dumervil !!!

They made it sound like he can't make any moves in regards to his moving or not UNTIL he hires a new agent.

Most players are not capable of handing their own affairs...... they need an agent. Just like most people couldn't represent themselves in court.

They need an agent, so it doesn't get personnel in talks with teams. They know how to negotiate the best deal, even if they do get a percentage. Most players would be taken to the cleaners if they tried to negotiate their own contracts.

    Since you asked........ ;)

    Cat Dander:
For years, it was thought by many people that cat hair was the source of allergens. Later, it was recognized that cat dander was the cause, but many cat lovers confused the term with "dandruff," which is visible to the eye.
Cat dander consists of microscopic pieces of dry cat skin which becomes airborne, landing on bedding, curtains, carpeting, and other surfaces, including humans' skin and clothing. Cat dander particles are tiny, about 1/10th the size of dust mites. Dry skin particles wouldn't be particularly allergenic except for this factor:
    Fel D1(Fel d-1, Fel d 1)

Fel D1 may come from the Latin Felis Domestica. It is a glycoprotein found in the cat's sebaceous glands under the skin, to a lesser degree in cats' saliva, and in cats' urine. When a cat grooms his coat, the Fel D1 present in his saliva lands on the cats' skin and hairs, and combined with the Fel D1 from the sebaceous glands, creates a sort of "double whammy" to allergy sufferers.

I think I may walk into my Boss' office on Tuesday and enquire about the likelyhood of signing on for a bonus, simply because I'm on their roster !!!!

Hell, unlike Revis getting a Mill. for nothing more than "existing", I'll happily take 10% of that amount and scamper outta there quicker than Lyndsey Lohan leaving a Jewellery store.

Really ????, so they are total dumbarses your saying ............................why don't we all have agents then to negotiate our salary's in the workforce ?

I'd think it rather simple actually ................... "pay me a million for the upcoming year, if I do the job to your satisfaction, we talk again this time next season and renegotiate" ............

Whats so hard about that ? :)

Ok, just listened to both The King V and Rinehart's Pressers and to be honest, I was relatively impressed with them both, so my apologies for going in thinking they'd both be total halfwits, who couldnt string 2 words together.

Liked that both "expected and want to start" and that both have had experience playing under Coach D before, so those two things alone are pleasing to hear.

Both seem humble enough which is always quite refreshing with what the majority of NFL players are these days and neither comes across as a complete buffoon, now lets just hope they have some attributes to help on that OLine that needs all the help it can get.

Quietly, a movement is under way.

Ten days ago, San Diego had 20 players on its roster who were 30 years or older, including three at least 33. Today, there are only nine such veterans. Four were released and nine saw their contracts expire, defaulting them to unrestricted free agency. Some veterans were told directly the team was looking to go younger at their position.

No Chargers player is currently older than 32.

Kicker Nick Novak and running back Ronnie Brown, both 31, are the only veterans above 30 who've been re-signed.

Very impressive young fella ......................first thing that hit me was he was "very thoughtful" about his answers, that in itself is unusual.

Well, at least this years Pressers wont be embarrassing like the past LT, ScareCro one's ......................now lets just hope they have some game smarts and talent to go along with their obvious intellect.

Would be a shame to have finally found a few guys who handle themselves well in front of a camera, but no reason to ever hear what they have to say because the team loses more often than not.

And whats with the "Boltscast" video ya arsewipe ??? ...................its near impossible for me to even look at those 2 fargknuckles over there these days, let alone listen to them attempt to speak on camera, that smile permanently tattoo'd on that one dudes dial, just begs for a fist pounding.

Phillips spoke very well too I thought .....................I'm having a hard time dealing with all these "reasonably intelligent types" ......... isn't it mandatory for at least one trash-talking lowlife scumbucket to be included in an NFL team roster or has that been rescinded recently. ;)

Age doesnt concern me in the least BLEW, whether you can still play is of far greater importance in my books...................... and falls within the Cap obviously, then go after him, is my MO.

If guys like Woodson, Freeney, Abraham, Wilson etc are available and you have room, you can't beat experience and an obvious talent for the game, so what if they only have a year or 2 left in the tank, last time I looked, you only play ONE season at a time, so get what you can out of them and pay them what they want (within reason ofcourse) .......................its still a "You get what you pay for" League and World I reckon BLEW ..................... you go cheap, you get scraps and results that reflect that, fork out a few bucks and enjoy the best the world has to offer, very rarely does that ever change, be it in regards to Football teams or comparing steaks from Donovans to TGIF. ;)

When you're wrong, you're wrong...... in this case, you're dead wrong. ;)

How do I start? First, you completely contradict yourself, when you say we're in rebuilding mode, but then you want to bring in older high priced vets. Excuse me, but those two things do not go together. Getting a short term rental on a guy like Woodson or Freeney is like putting a bandaid on a gunshot wound. It won't help a team with major rebuilding to do, and it only prolongs the down period by taking money away from other areas of need.

None of those guys would be the difference in turning this current team into a contender, so it would be wasted money. Telseco is right in making the roster younger, it's the proper way to rebuild. We need to build depth first, and that depth has to be young enough to have a chance to develop as a group.

The time to bring in guys like Woodson, Reed, or Freeney is at the end of the rebuilding process, not the beginning.

You've got your cart before the horse, old-timer..... get the :poop: out of your ears.

    This is correct Blew.

Similar to what we did in 200-42005, leading to the team becoming a powerhouse (youthful & talented) team in 2006 when it needed the sprinkling of the veterans in here and there, to complete that process. AJ did not sign anyone too "sexy" but I still believe that the acquisition of Keenan McCardell made a tremendous difference to the then talented but inconsistent WR crew. Also the contribution of veteran LB's like Edwards/Godfrey/Foley really helped the DL, behind Jamal ;)
